Yeah maybe I'm just young so I don't have that disposable income but I dont want to pay 75 bucks to watch Canelo beat a top 40 guy even if the weight class jump makes it somewhat compelling. I'd watch on DAZN for sure though..
That’s really why I’m hoping golden boy form some sort of collaboration with DAZN/matchroom. Will increase fight opportunities significantly and won’t cost anybody anymore than they are already paying! Win win!
I'm wondering if theres some sort of Golden Boy involvement in the Nov 17th card. Seems to be getting unneccesarily delayed, 5 weeks away now. Maybe getting announced Wednesday aswell.
Munguia says he may be fighting Inoue on this card. Francisco Vargas rumoured, doubt Machado, hes on the Jacobs undercard.
Also Rey Vargas vs Daniel Roman should be easy to make now, think Vargas is fighting someone else on the Canelo undercard though, but first half next year no reason not to.
A 75 dollar PPV is it worth it?
Canelo's cards suck. He will just have a bunch of unknown Mexicans fighting each other. At least have some recognisable names.
I’m a sucker for PPV and buy almost all of them
But I’m not buying Canelo / Feilding even with a stacked undercard if it’s on PPV , which looking at GB stable seems almost impossible to make a stacked undercard
I mean Canelo /GGg 2 was about the best that GB could put together as far as who they have and that undercard wasn’t anything special
The big problem is that outside of Canelo there really isn't much star power at Golden Boy. You've got Jaime Mungia, Diego De La Hoya, Rey Vargas, Sadam Ali and Alberto Machado. Lotsa meh. They'd need to bring in another name to help sell it.

Should put this one on DAZN to be honest :dunno: DAZN should pay Canelo and GBP whatever they want to put it on DAZN it would be big for their APP even if it is just a 1 Fight Deal
Worth it? Probably not, but Canelo's floor is around 300k (the Smith fight and that's before his name getting even bigger to casuals from the GGG fights), and that's why every fight he has will likely be on PPV.
I'm personally going to attend the card live, so I'm excited for it regardless.
