There is a very simple explanation why Canelo gets decisions. His style looks good to the judges with the naked eye. He has a good chin so the few punches that actually land clean don't look like they have much effect and the majority of punches he slips or rolls so its easier to show the punches weren't effective vs someone who stays stationary and tucks up behind a guard. He throws quick combinations rather than single punches so it can look like punches land clean when they actually don't. When someone throws a 4 punch combination how many of them can you really tell if they land?

I thought Canelo lost both fights to GGG but I thought he clearly beat Trout and edged out Lara.Lara ran too much. Canelo chased him all fight and landed the better, harder punches while going forward.
