Nope, i call a spade a spade when it comes to how i see it. i wanted Danny Garcia to win v Porter and personally thought he lost, got no problem saying that. i'm a Kovalev fan and wanted him to beat Ward in the rematch and have no problem admitting he got thoroughly outclassed and i don't buy into the low blow excuses, he was getting *****ed up regardless. No point in pretending otherwise. i simply call it how i see it. i'm a boxing fan first, before being a fan of particular fighters. i just didn't see Canelo win enough rounds and if i did, i'd say it. i'm not going to lie to myself or make excuses on a forum full of strangers because of fandom. i just want to see good fights and fair results. Ultimately i don't care if the fighters i like lose fights, as long as i was entertained. it doesn't affect my life one way or the other. That's why i'd rather just see fairness.

A fair verdict has Nelo winning BOTH fights. No, I disagree. The first fight was a highway robbery of GGG. However, this fight was a bit different because Canelo made several minor adjustments like staying off the ropes and throwing more combination punches in bunches. Also, he was able to force Golovkin to fight off the back foot while throwing mainly single punches/jabs at a time.

I thought the fight was too close to call but I can understand why the judges favored Canelo because he adjusted and took the fight to Golovkin this time. Exactly this! 116-112 either way and anything in between would have been OK. Several really close rounds and it depends on what you look at. People just seem to struggle to comprehend that you can have such a wide spread, but the reality is, these guys have fought 24 rounds and I would say only 25% of them have been conclusive either way. It's like the Pac-Marquez arguments all over again. My feeling was that the first fight was a drawish type fight, maybe Golovkin nicking it, he definitely won the event regardless. This feels pretty much the same, but I feel Canelo has won the event this time. The only answer is fight 3, with maybe an interim fight for both guys.

Obviously you have not seen GGG's face. That's how one can give Canelo more than 5 rounds. He threw punches in bunches while landing the cleaner, crispier and flashier punches in the process. However, in reality this fight should have been ruled a draw. It would have been the only fair verdict. A fair verdict has Nelo winning BOTH fights.

8-4 in either direction is more than plausible. You could make a good case for Canelo winning 1,2,5,6,7,8,9,12 and even 3 was pretty close. But equally I wouldn't begrudge someone who thought GGG won 8 rounds, it was that kind of fight. Just another case where too many people were influenced by commentary imho.
