Don't need to argue about every decision, I had it 7-5 GGG, same as the first fight, thought he had less quality but overall outworked Canelo in both fights.
BUT...The main thing is that these 2 are made for each other and that is a special, rare thing at this level in boxing. Two very evenly matched fighters.
Bring on fight 3...
Ps Golovkin definitely should have done his interview.

it was a close fight. Canelo created a good lead in the first half as Ggg started super slow again. GGG made a great rally in the later rounds that is why people are swayed with their recent memory. And then came the 12th round where Canelo closed the show better.
Understandable decision imo.
Yes I agree with the last part
No, trilogy makes no sense. GGG will not get better and faster and he can`t get decision in America and I doubt he can stop Canelo. GGG can fight 2-3 times whoever he wants and get a nice payday for that.
No, I wanna see jermall -Charlo fighting Canelo. But i guess it won`t happen.
It would be good to see Charlo, Andrade, BJS, Jacobs in with each other and either of these two, but I think the trilogy is most likely and makes most sense.
Exactly, he has looked the same to me since Brook, that has everything to do with the step up in level and not age, look what he did to Vanes.
Yep. He's the same fighter he's been for the last few years. He's limited, that's all.
All that has everything to do with Canelo. The jab is the safest thing for him to land, so that's what he'll do. The stamina had a lot to do with Canelo's impressive bodywork.

Makes you wonder why Canelo looked like he was the one receiving that impressing bodywork and showing even worse stamina when Golovkin body punches were non existent
Because he's known for having terrible stamina? Have you never watched Canelo fight?

They really do have a tit-for-tat thing going on. Makes for good fights.
I don't feel hungry for another rematch but I still agree with the concept that they really match up well.
He looks like trash at this point, no bodypunches, nothing but jabs. Was fatigued, his luck that Canelo has even worse stamina despite being younger

And? He still looks great

Its like pacquiao vs marquez
100% Plus I would be so interested in tactics for fight 3, the first 2 fights were so different.
I was impressed with both guys versatility tonight, they both presented completely different looks. GGG boxed on the move for much of the fight, and Canelo fought like a little Mexican James Toney.
well, they got no one else. there's bjs, but who wants to see that for $70?
I would actually like to see BJS against GGG, I think the styles might go well. Charlo, Andrade, Jacobs would be great fights for either.
But honestly these 2 should have another one, the controversy, bad blood, Abel Sanchez, it's just a classic trilogy in the making. Maybe 4 or 5 fights.
