Kovalev recently said that he didn't drink strong alcohol for 4 years already. That doesn't mean you can't become drunk out of beer though.

Not sure I'd label him "a drunk" but Carlos Monzon was known to be a heavy drinker and smoker throughout his fighting career. He was almost a freak of nature in that sense. yep, an alcoholic since he was like 14 years old or something like that, very young. what really ruined him was cocaine but that was after he was retired

Ones I can think of that drank a lot were: Corrales - never heard any rumors until he crashed Hatton Pavlik Also if they do hard drugs that always overshadows/gets more attention than the drinking. DLH and Mike Tyson said they drank a lot but are more known for coke. Not sure but I think Fury and Calzaghe also drank but again if the did coke too then that gets more attention.

He said 2015 then 2007. Clearly meant to say 2005, he had been pro for 3 years and was 25 years old in 2015. I'm pretty sure he knows that...
