Ortiz and Rios have seen better days. I don't think they could hit that slippery guy cleanly if they could throw hand fulls of rice at him. Boxrec lists no opponent for Kelly yet.

Rumoured. Rios says hes on there. Hearn said after Kelly's last fight hed be targeting Rios or Victor Ortiz. I’m extremely doubtful of this. From what I understand Kelly isn’t scheduled to box on the AJ-Povetkin card and will instead return on Oct 13 in Newcastle.

Nope, only 3 fights on card at mo.. Joshua povetkin, Campbell Mendy, askin okolie Joshua/Klitschko only had 5 fights on it, Wembley had time restrictions last time, may still apply. Kuzmin and Giyasov are due to be on there aswell.

Hasn't the entire card been announced already. The card takes place in 3 weeks. Yea this is true. A Kelly-Rios fight would make more sense for the Lewis Ritson card in October, but that card is already stacked...

Great fight if made. Because Josh trades so much on his ability to slip punches in he pocket which is where Rios lives. I thought Rios had a a fair bit left against Garcia anyway. Lovely clash of styles. Good match making

Not heard anything myself but that would be a great fight for Josh Kelly. Would get his name out there, bit of a spectacle... although Brandon Rios is well past-prime, he ain't no chump!
