Eric Gomez from Golden Boy went to Abel Sanchez and Golovkin.
First he asked Golovkin how he was feeling ? Golovkin answered "fine"
Then he immediately said "a draw" to Golovkin and Sanchez...
Abel sanchez responded "who needs that man ? Boxing needs that ?!"
Eric gomez responded again with "a draw..." while Nodding
Abel sanchez: "a ****ing draw?"
Meanwhile GGG is looking upset...eyeing Mr. Gomez
I've never seen this happen before..
So was the fix in beforehand or what ? What do you guys think ?
You're not beating Canelo on the Cards! If somehow a Judges seen Mayweather vs Canelo as a draw...then the rest of boxing is SCREWED when going up again Canelo :dunno:
That's what folks don't get.
It was Canelo only fighting in spots that made the fight close.
I don't know if he was worried about gassing or if he feared exchanging too much too soon but his inactivity during some rounds is what enabled GGG to stay in the fight.
Canelo landed the better, cleaner shots.
Canelo determined when and how the fight was fought.
Canelo displayed the best defense of the two.
That's 3 of the 4 of the fight criteria and if the emphasis is on clean effective punching that's Canelo going away.
This next fight, if Canelo simply ups his punch output a few times per round, he will win an easy decision or get a late stoppage.
Sorry, G fans, your boy is history...
Upping his punch output comes at a cost. Yes Canelo did land the better, cleaner shots BUT because he's using so much energy......he can only sustain that for so long as his stamina will get depleted. Plus add Golovkin's jab, pressure and consistency, it caused Canelo to have to reset himself throughout the fight.
Fix? If you have no proof then stfu and hide the butthurtness. GGs face told the story of the fight. It was beat up and swollen. Canelo had the fight won. Canelo was responsible for the fight being a draw, not the judges.

Why would it have even been surprising to GGG given the lack of activity on his part, particularly to the body? The fight both of them fought was head scratching
Well, to be fair, and not to say the fight wasn't fixed because i think it was too, but to be fair I believe ringside personnel can see the results before it is announced which could explain this situation.

Everyone concentrates on Adelaide Byrd.
And yes, her card was pure fuquery and an embarrassment.
But, it's pure fanboy if you do not also recognize the other judges had it razor close.
Moretti had Golovkin 7-5 and Trella had it a draw. 2 of 3 judges thought neither man did enough to win.
That's not controversial at all.Well said. My exact thoughts.
Canelo landed the cleaner, harder powershots and he landed more of then.
Not at all like those fights you mention, but by all means, do you...Exactly!!! Why GGs fanatics think that this fight was a blatant robbery is behind me.
Two of the three judges didn't feel Whitaker beat Ramirez (fight I ) or Chavez, two of three didn't think Lewis beat Holyfield (fight I), or Pacquaio beat Bradley (fight I) or Abril beat Rios or Tiberi beat Toney or Everett beat Escalera etc; etc; etc; etc;

Canelo gets like 6 rounds from jump so I think if you see a score that is 8-4 Canelo then he likely lost 10-2. LOL.
The look on Floyd's face when 114-114 was announced was priceless.
Watched that fight once when it happened so I'm a bit foggy. Thinking back I can't recall one round that Canelo actually won. Am I wrong???
