bro aint no such thing as prime after 3 years in a prison.
you wouldny be the same after 3 days let alone 3 years
think about it
He was overrated. Even before he went to prison. He lost to Buster Douglas and beat a 40 year old Larry Holmes. Those are the highlights of his boxing career.
nah
hagler,duran,hearns>pacquiao,oscar,mosley,canelo,marquez
floyd beat more champions, but leonard beat more ATG
Like I said he lost to hagler and got a gift plus the fact he avoided him for almost a decade
Floyd Mayweather and Sugar Ray Robinson.
Sugar Ray Robinson is universally accepted as the best ever like Jordan.
Floyd is the best in recent memory like Lebron.
In reality you can’t come close
To comparing either Ray Robinson and Floyd like you can’t MJ and Lebron b
Floyd’s resume is better than leanord who should of took that L against hagler

Tyson served less than 3 years in prison.
And he did lose and became a nodoby. Any notable wins after his prison stint? Another fight with Frank Bruno lol.
Magic lost in 81 and 86 to the eventual NBA Finals opponent for the Celtics. But ... Magic also has 5 championships in the 80s the most. And is usually considered the best player in the 80s.
Tyson is not usually considered the best boxer of the 80s ... most popular. Possibly.

At any weight, Floyd didn't have the resume to be considered in the conversation. He's not one of the top 2 fighters of all time.
LaBron is one of the top 3-4 basketball players of all time, at worst. Nobody in boxing can even kind of say that since Sugar Ray Leonard.

Because he showed a lot of skill in college. Skill that couldn't translate to the pros because he was too small.
Height and weight had nothing to do with it.
He wasn't even that good in college it was a gamble.
Him being in your words "small" had nothing to do with it because him being 6'11 255 is not gonna magically turn him into Tim Duncan.
I just explained it. Do you see him playing in the NBA?
If we had 17 NBAs with 17 different height limits, he'd be playing in one of them for sure.
Why was he the number 1 pick?
HOW is the number one pick in the NBA draft too small to play in the NBA.

Plenty of HoF 4's 6'8 or under or 240 or under.
Barkley
Dennis Rodman
Elvin Hayes
Gus Johnson
Dolph Schayes
Dave DeBusschere
And guys under 240
Kevin McHale was like 6'10 but weighted under 240.
Kevin Garnett 6'11 240 but came in th league at 195. But Anthony Bennett was too small for the league okay.
Even centers some were 6'8 or under.
Wes Unseld
Ben Wallace
Current Power Forward Draymond Green is 6'7 230.
I didn't say there weren't any. You'll find more above that height. Again, I'm not agreeing with that other poster. All I did was clarified the point he was trying to make. Bennett sucked in the paint because he sucked in the paint. It had nothing to do with his size.
His post skills couldn't translate to the NBA because he was too small to play in the post in the NBA. Therefore he was worthless. He's in the G-League now.
HOW is the number one pick in the NBA draft too small to play in the NBA.
He was picked number one for a reason.
He was just never very good to begin with. His height had nothin to do with it. You're telling me if he was 6'11 255 he would havd been the next Tim Duncan. No he just would have been Kwame Brown.
There aren't many Hall of fame 4s or 5s that height for a reason. Some have been able to do well but like I said, his problems are wah more than that.

All the time. A number 1 draft pick is not too small for the NBA if he was he wouldn't have been the 1st pick in the NBA draft.

How is 6'8, 240 too small to play in the post. It wasn't too small 30 years ago when post play actually existed so it definitely is not too small for the current NBA.

he was in prison in 5 yrs. Tyson dominated until he lost. he never got the chance to avenge the loss due to prison. you act like he lost and became a nobody. no he lost and went to prison.
and magic didnt make the finals in 81 or 86. was that losing to the best?
magic had a 10 yr career. and he won a title right out the gate like tyson. he dominated the 80s just like tyson.
his prime was cut short, just like tyson
