Well at least he lasted until 38 though, his career really ended 10 years prior.
We've seen people die in the ring, or Worse like Ali & Magomed who've come out severely debilitated. No one wants to see their hero's go out like that, hopefully not even the haters.
Let's not forget the ones who've passed or severely injured far too young outside of it like Williams & Corrales.
Those are by far the worst ending of any boxer's career.
Aw man, Corrales dying is one of the greatest tragedies in the history of sports, man.
Benn vs McClellan. /End thread
Yeah, this fight still gets me pissed off.
That referee should've been arrested after the fight.
I don't think it's been said yet so...
Cotto vs Martinez to end Sergio's enjoyable career. To see a guy with once great movement hobbling around and getting smashed by the much smaller Cotto was a terrible way for him to go out.
He looked like a completely different fighter and was fighting in self-preservation mode. Unlike some legends mentioned like RJJ and Bernard Hopkins, Sergio Martinez wasn't even that old, just undone by injuries.
Groves vs Eubank Jr....that guy has been super quiet of late.
Kostya Tszyu vs Hatton...a legend had to quit on his stool.
Hamed vs Barrera...I was embarrassed for my guy.
Pavlik vs Hopkins...see above.
Kessler vs Ward...the headbutts that almost blinded him.

Why do you think that's funny motherfùcker?
I do not:
you, on the other hand, are hilarious
Only a pùssy would make fun of Jones like that.
I feel like I'm arguing with a rhinoceros. Easily angered, mostly blind and not too bright.
Rhino, what are you like 7 years-old? My vision is fine and my level of education is close to PHD.
Don't argue then and don't disrespect one of the most talented athletes in world history. Maybe you don't get your shít pushed in next time.
Keep being a troll fùckhead and you'll end up ignored.
This guy here :haha::lol1:
Mr PHD . . . .
Can someone post my Nelson HaHa gif
People say Tyson was a sad ending, but I see it differently. He just gave up and wasn't really beat into submission. I can always look back and rationalise it by saying Tyson wasn't at his best so that always softens the blow.
In contrast, Ali's ending was genuinely sad because Ali WANTED desperately to win. He still had the passion, but his body just wouldn't cooperate.
Roy's loss against Tarver hurt the most. It was such a shock. The finality of it was devastating.
Worst endings that I have seen, in no particular order
Bowe-golata 2,,,, great fight but ended again with nutshots. First match, it was memorable and entertaining especially the riot, 2nd time I was like wtf
Kermit cintron when he dived out of the ring, vs either Serg or Paul, can’t remember
Kermit cintron vs margarito.. ain’t no crying in boxing
Oscar-Hopkins..... just cuz
Roy Jones vs montel
Hopkins-Allen 1,,,
Some solid choices here

i can't see anything related to Maccarinelli without thinking of Enzo Mc is SHIT and how he came up with his name :lol1:

Those are by far the worst ending of any boxer's career. i agree fella.
I actually felt sorry for david haye in his last two fights against bellew...especially when he had that injured achilles heel....its quite sad to see a proven world champion go out like an injured old man and kind of lose all dignity.
Boxing can be the most glorious but at the same time the most savage.
gayweather jr fighting a non boxer which is a joke and a disgrace for a last fight and ending. LMAO gayweather jr gave himself an asterisk on that phony undefeated record.
