I mean no disrespect, but can I ask you why Crawford deserves to be no. 1? It's not a challenge I'm just uninformed, I guess. I saw his fight against Gamboa and was very impressed, and some early fights he totally dominated against low-level guys, and his fight with Horn, which was good although I never expected it to go any other way and didn't see it as a huge challenge. What's the reasoning?
His unification of all titles at 140 has to have him above everyone else. I look at my p4p as the cumulative body over a 12 month period. What you did, against who, versus what the other 9 have done for that time frame. Mind you I will occassionally place someone on there because of what they could've/would've done outside of injury or political *****ery. Example Thurman in my opinion would still be champion and would've beaten both Porter and Garcia again if not for the injury

I would have him 4th behind Crawford, Loma and Usyk and ahead of GGG and Sor Rungiavisi.
I think some will put him ahead of Loma because he beat Salido and Loma didn't.
Totally agree with this
I disagree.
I think Thurman has earned his spot on Mount Rushmore.
One Time is All Time.
Make some waves for the Apocalysp!!

Lol. But he hasn't done anything in 16 months, regardless of the reason! You can probably name at least 10 fighters who have had a great run in the past 16 months.
Crawford
Loma
Sor Rungvisai
Golovkin
Wilder
Joshua
Thurman/Spence
Garcia
Groves
Canelo

There are 3 absolute elite top 3 P4P fighters right now, and after that there are a couple contenders. Garcia is #6.
#1 Loma
#2 GGG
#3 Usyk
_______________
#4 Crawford
#5 Inoue
#6 Garcia
Look at it this way. The WBC made him vacate his title. Why do you think that is? It's because he was unable to defend it due to injury. I look at P4P rankings the same way. You have to defend your spot in the P4P rankings. If you aren't actively fighting, for whatever reason, you shouldn't be on that list.
Explain to me why other active fighters who are putting together a fantastic year should lose a spot in the top ten because of an injured Thurman? How is that fair? You having an inactive Thurman on the list is like penalizing a fighter who is putting together a great 2018 year, but instead of him on the list, it's Thurman.
It doesn't make Thurman any less of a fighter. It's just that he's injured, so he's lost a step in the rankings. He can easily get his spot back.
I'm sure plenty of others agree with me.
THIS
And in all honesty, he was barely in the top 10 in 2017

I'm sure plenty of others agree with me.The one thing that has gotten me this far in life is not caring what others think or who agrees or disagrees with me.
You don’t get moved off of the pfp list because of injury. Nobody made him vacate. He did that on his own volition.
If you want to remove hm from your list, fine. I don't penalize fighters because of injuries. His resume speaks for itself.

This (with the exception with the Canelo being top 5 part)
How come you can't?
There aint no ability better than AVAILability.
If you're out the ring for almost 2 years, you gotta go
If you want to take him off of YOUR pfp list, go right ahead. He won't be removed from my list for inactivity from being injured. When you don't lose you don't get removed.
It's unfortunate he's injured, but it's still an undeniable fact that he's inactive and hasn't fought in 16 months.
It's really not fair to active fighters who are grinding it out this year to not make the P4P top ten because you still have an inactive Thurman on your list.
A P4P list is a current list. If it was a March 2017 list, of course Thurman makes top 10. It's not March 2017 anymore though. When he comes back and wins in an impressive fashion, then he can be back in the top ten.

You can’t move a guy off of a list because he’s injured doe. That isn’t fair to the fighter.

Exactly this.
Spence (he went "cross the pond" and took his belt vs brook)
Crawford (he beat Horn not a better win than brook was for #1)
Mikey (he has 40+ wins multiple divisions and beat Salido)
Wilder (ko'd EVERY boxer he faced in the HEAVYWEIGHT division)
Kovalev (he beats every other person not named WARd)
Loma (he's got skills)
GGG (his competition was terrible, but he did what he was supposed to do, get they ass out of there)
