He completely schooled Gassiev and officially has a better resume than Crawford, GGG, and arguably Loma. I think he is since he passes the eye test and he has one of the best resumes to date. First unified cruiserweight since Holyfield and he is arguably the most skilled cruiserweight of all time. What do you guys think?
Barely as in beating your opponent into submission and cracking his eye socket? I don't have Spence in my top 3 pfp, but there was nothing "barely" about beating Brooke.
Where did I talk about his win over Brook, he fought some scrub named Ocampo that guy was a TJ taxidriver nobody heard of.
Brook is his biggest win.
Usyks undisputed win is more, and he beat the guy sin the tourney to the top
I've only ever seen one other 6'3 guy who had that kind of hand speed, foot speed, stamina and lighting flurries.
Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee. Very feel.
If Crawford is #1 then Usyk just eclipsed him. cleaning out CW more impressive than what Bud did at 140. Danny Garcia beat better opponents than Crawford at 140 and was never considered PFP material.
Spence? I like spence but its only Crawford and Usyk who should be top 2 lock followed by Loma
Spence barely won his belt and then defended it against a tomato can name Ocampo
Undisputed is one of the rarest accomplishments in boxing that puts Usyk and Crawford in a special class of boxer.

Cruiser is deep, Uysk just establish himself like Floyd did light years ahead of nearest challenge and now have to move up in weight.
I wouldn't say "DEEP" but it was Solid at the top coming into this Tournament with Gassiev and Dorticos. We shall see where 24 year old Gassiev goes from here and how the rest of his career plays out to determine how Good or "Deep" this Cruiserweight Division is
I don't have him in my top 5, but if he isn't now in everyone's top 7 or 8, that's a problem.
He made a helluva case for himself tonight and he definitely is one more big performance away from top 5 at least.
how do we know that though? are we supposed to believe fat blobs like ortiz or wild swinging no balance wilder make heavy a good division? more press doens't mean better. these cruisers are all in great shape. cant say the same for a lot of the top heavies.
Exactly. Dillan Whyte's sloppy build/bum ass and Joshua's stiff scared ass don't qualify. But the guys at CW are being overrated.

Heavy is reasonably poor unfortunately dopers have blighted that entire division. Ortiz Povetkin Fury’s Whyte Briggs Browne near enough the entire top ten are at it.
NO but he solidifies Top 3-5 FOR SURE! Only reason why he doesn't get #1 is unfortunately because the Cruiserweight Division is not that good of a division but the man Unified so that jumps him all the way from just outside of the Top 10 to Top 3-5 in that Range FOR SURE
Props to the Ukraine boxers, very well trained, very discipline boxers. Beautiful Boxing in the Pocket, excellent Circling/Side Stepping. Loma and Usyk does it to PERFECTION. I do think Derevenychenko will be next I think he schools and STOPS Jacobs :dunno:
