I read about people saying Crawford and Spence are TOO BIG for Pacquiao? Do they mean the height or skill difference? Pac fought Mosley, Rios, Vargas, Horn, Bradley, Algieri, Dela Hoya, and Margarito. ALL of which are bigger/taller than Crawford or Spence. What TOO BIG are you talking about?! Too skilled (at this point) maybe the right term, but too big?
By the way, 2009 Pac destroys Crawford and Spence easy, 2018 Pac still got 40-50% chance imo.
Manny got two prime Black American fighters that box nothing alike, Spence is more of a straight a head boxer Manny "RUNS" more than Spence does! Crawford more of a boxer but is susceptible to trade with his opponents
GIVING them an opportunity to clip him and he is still ducking them.
So they must be talking about pe.nis size.
Khan is a lightweight fighting at welter, Crawford/Spence are light middle/middleweights draining themselves to compete at the same weight. Pacman in his very prime could beat much bigger/taller fighters but not at 40 lol. Pacquiao vs Khan is a good 50/50 fight now. Pacman is just a part time boxer and 40 years old, its absolutely insane that he can still compete at such a level.
Crawford and Spence need to fight each other.
Dude, Crawford just came in from LIGHTWEIGHT. Spence spent his at Welterweight, but there's no TOO BIG in that as Pac also fought full welterweights/middleweights in Mosley, Dela Hoya, Margarito, etc.
It's just funny that few years ago the board was full of threads like 'Crawford is going to be the next big thing as long as he stays south of Welterweight (where Pac was)'. But now, it's reversed, Pac should now stay away from Crawford lol!
All the talk of the big elite WWs he fought, they were under CWs which makes a huge difference Cotto Oscar CWs Mosley was shot and Margo was shot, as an extreme example GGG could beat Joshua at 200 lbs, that's effectively the same thing Manny did, As far as matching for weight Manny is the greatest in history for playing the weight card to his advantages, even bringing them up like JMM Algerie Rios etc was Mannys advantage, I take my hate of to Manny and his match maker they played it to the hilt.
Manny would be eaten by prime elite WWs with NO CW.

By too big I think most mean that Spence and Crawford are naturally bigger heavier men. They are full sized welterweights who weigh almost 160 pounds on fight night. Pacquiao fights at welterweight but he has never been a full welterweight. He is a big lightweight or a a 140 pounder and never weighs more than 150 on fight night for his welterweight fights.
And these guys are not? Mosley, Rios, Vargas, Horn, Bradley, Algieri, Dela Hoya, and Margarito. ALL of which are bigger/taller than Crawford or Spence. Call it TOO SKILLED, TOO FAST, TOO YOUNG, TOO STRONG at this point for Manny then I can understand. But simply saying TOO BIG for Pac makes me crazy lol!
It is sad as hell you havent posted since 2014 then run back on here now that Manny picked up a paper title tho...
Never posted for years but that doesn't mean I left if you know what I'm saying. So, shut up son.

I don't really have any interest is seeing him fight those guys. He'd be 40 when he steps in the ring with them, at this point it's not even a 'passing of the torch' moment anymore.
I want to see Spence and Crawford fight each other and unify. Not talk about letting it marinate and fighting a guy who's past his best by a number of years.
I think Manny would beat them in his prime for sure, but those days have gone. Crawford and Spence are both big, young and skilled P4P guys. Too much at this stage.
I'd like to see Pacquiao call it a day, I don't see that happening though. Khan in the UK would be good for Pacquiao. I still think he has enough about him to win that fight.
Loma? I don't know. I know Pacquiao is small and is known to eat well on the day of the weigh-in, but he's not been at 140 since the Hatton fight. While I think 140 is Loma's ceiling for sure.
If he still had his legs I would say make the fight, people want these young guys to take scalps easily now. Both Floyd and Manny beat their way to those legendary scalps. They didn't fight a bunch of nobodies and then stepped in to claim thrones. I'll say it one last time, if people spent the same amount of time demanding Spence and Crawford beat the best in their generation class as they don talking about those guys fighting Floyd or Manny we'd have a different climate right now. Also as far as I am concerned Spece and Crawford while great talents haven't done jack***** worthy of praise besides win some belts. By the time both Manny and Floyd had their stage set to take on the king of the period in DLH they had a few future hall of famers on their resume and some hella impressive wins.
Glad you see it that way. Let's put Manny in with Crawford and Spence with VADA testing and lets see how he does.
I am guessing Pacquiao is afraid of needles once again. Testing makes him weak, he is superstitious, he can't spar for days after getting tested, etc, etc.
His best chance of success is either Khan or Loma, and he could lose both. Spence and Crawford? No way would they put him in with those two. Crawford maybe, since he was at 135 only a couple of years ago. Spence is 5'10" and walks around in the 170's. He would end Pac's career for sure.
Pacquiao is supposed to lose to both. Let's see it though.
Pacquiao was given the chance to rise to superstardom by Dela Hoya, et al. Now it is his turn to give the young ones that chance.
Facts...I agree but at same time it's nice to see guys retire than be retired
I'd favor peak Pacquiao over both, but it is far from a lock he would have beaten them, let alone destroy them. Crawford style wise was always going to be a problem. Spence is a trust boxer/puncher that will grind you out. Pacquiao's speed would have given him fits, but Margarito almost folded him to the body and Spence right now is a lot fresher than that version of Margarito.
But this Pacman against the two lions? Yeah, steer away from them, it won't end well. Go after Danny Garcia if he beats Porter, or Amir Khan or fighters like that. Those that won't have the size advantage on you or won't impose their will on you.
Crawford just got to WW, but he's naturally bigger than Pacman. He has that type of build where he could eventually go up to LMW.
Spence and Crawford are excellent, possible great prime welterweights. As great as Pacquiao was he was and is too small and light for welterweight. He is so good that he still wins at welterweight most of the time. I doubt the prime Pacquiao would destroy Spence and Crawford of today. They might beat him. As for Pac having a 40 to 50 percent chance of beating them now the odds makers would not agree with you on that. Pacquiao would be a big underdog against either of them today.
An excellent post, bro. I certainly agree with the bold and believe so as well.
These two are the goods and it's in Pacman's best interest to steer clear.
finally spence will finally under go vada testing LOL!! let's get this fight signed!
Finally go VADA testing? You mean like he did against Kell Brook?
Um yeah, sit this one out slugger. Speaking of VADA testing, not like Manny has done it the last two fights either.
lets see, crawford came into a 135 fight against midget gamboa at 152. that's almost a 20lbs increase. and this was years ago. so seeing how TC is fighting at 147 now, i wont be surprise if he comes into the ring at 160-168. i dont think he's anywhere near 180 like suggested but 160-168, you cant argue this.
I don't care what you are surprised by. There is no way any of you know what any fighter walks around at.
This is just BS. It's always pac fans that come up with these huge weight disparities when discussing potential opponents so they have an excuse when he loses.
finally spence will finally under go vada testing LOL!! let's get this fight signed!
I agree. One point-Manny would be the a side right? Will he opt for no VADA testing like he did in this past fight?
Personally he shouldn't fight either fighter. He would lose to either of them, he is too old, too wartorn. They would be getting him at the right age, right skill level etc I really don't like to see that happen to great fighters, he can go out now as retire not getting beaten up by these hungry younger guys. But i know he would get in the ring with one of them, it happened with Ray Leonard against Camacho, Chavez against De la hoya, De la hoya against Pac himself etc.
From what it looks like, Pacquiao is going to continue to box no matter what anyone says, so I say if Pac decides to fight Crawford or Spence, then so be it. It would be some epic *****
Regardless of what happened, it would be legendary of Pac to step in the ring with either man at this point. If he made it hard on either guy or somehow won? Goddamn.
I don't expect it, though. Pac may still want to fight but he's still a part-time boxer looking for money fights he can win.
