I don't know why he was so surprised at hearing Haymon guys in a lot of cases receive much more than the reported purse. Guys like Garcia would leave to Hearn asap if Hearn really offered them double or triple their purses. But that's just not the case. Impossible to know how much these guys make, but Wilder did not walk away with anything close to 1.5 million vs Ortiz. Heck, if the reported purse was 2.1 million, it is likely he ended up getting 3+ million for the fight. 15 million is more than most boxers today... Only Canelo, Pac, AJ and GGG (with Canelo) make 15 or more... Unless someone can correct me. Heck even Wlad rarely got passed that until very late in his career. I am thinking Potvekin No one said 15 million isn't good money, but for as much money as this fight could generate, it isn't a great deal by any means.

No, you can't google the amount he took home. You think those Haymon second checks are public? Lol, that's the point. And Broner has been doing consistently the best ratings on SHO. It works both ways. There is nobody AJ can fight who would make AJ even half the money fighting Wilder would make him. A fight with Wilder would be by far AJ's biggest career payday.
