I haven’t posted in what, ten years? But when I caught wind that the Joshua vs Wider negotiations fell through, I knew it was because Joshua didn’t want the fight. THEN, I do my reading to find out that my gut feeling was ****ing spot on. WHY IS HE SCARED? Isn’t he supposed to be the bigger, more technical, more proven fighter? I’m tired of “boxing politics” being used as a shield for scared ass fighters. If you don’t want to fight the best out there then hang the ****in gloves up... end rant

Enlighten us with actual evidence, because all the actual evidence is that Wilder didn’t even bother to meet, respond or otherwise engage in any meaningful effort to make it happen.
He screamed a few things in social media, perhaps you’re mistaking that for a professional approach to making a very big event happen.
You do know Joshua has SIGNED a contract to fight him on all the terms he wanted. That is in Wilders hands and yes done nothing with it.
Explain to me how they kept putting hurdle after hurdle when D.Wilder & his team offered the 50 million that Aj asked for?
If by ‘hurdles’ you mean ‘asked to see a contract’ ....
Joshua was the one who readily fought and beat Klitschko.
While Wilder hid behind Finkel, "Deontay won't be rushed to fight Klitsch."
Why are you people fooling yourselves?
If Joshua took the fight now and lost everybody would question Hearn making the fight now. So long as it happens next and not 2 years from now as Lennox Lewis tweeted, then I think it is alright. But Wilder has been disrespected all along in these negotiations and if our counterparts across the ocean cannot see that, then that is alright. Your arrogance will make it all that much sweeter if our guy triumphs with the belts.
I partly agree with this. As a fighter Wilder is respected and acknowledged as a dangerous opponent. In negotiations he and his team have shown no willingness to conduct themselves professionally, and have lost the respect of the world’s best boxing fans.

Don't think AJ is scared of Wilder, I just think he is scared of losing period. And Wilder is the guy that would probably make that happen.
Right, this makes perfect sense. The best heavyweight in the world, Olympic gold medalist, who has made every effort to achieve his stated goal of unifying all the belts, and has been doing so. The guy who is taking on Whyte, Klitschko etc, is now scared of Wilder. You’re on crack mate if you believe that. Your guy didn’t return calls and didn’t attend meetings and causes delays like fook. Your Alabama town hall fighter is too scary for the guy who is favourite to beat him.
Nice theory, put it with your ‘the moon is made of cheese’ theory.
AJ TURNED DOWN 50 MILLION which was verified by Hearn :boxing:
No more needs to be said, he wont get in the ring with Wilder even if he's paid exactly what he asked for. You cant make AJ get in that ring :scared:
AJ turned down the largest 50 MILLION DOLLAR guaranteed contract for a HEAVYWEIGHT IN HISTORY
so you guys bringing up Wilder turning down a flat 15 :thumbsdow your argument makes no sense :moon:
No, you’re twisting the facts.
Shirley knew the WBA was putting pressure on Hearn / AJ.
That pressure had come down to a matter of 24 hours, and Shirley and Ducker had farted around so long already, and then said they’d send it back in 5 MORE days. That was when the WBA gave an ultimatum, which AJ had no choice at that point.
So whose fault is it? If you cannot see that your heroes pissed around and caused this then you are suffering from delusion or an extreme case of fan fever.
Did you really expect AJ to vacate because Wilder didn’t want it? Give your head a shake.
You use Shirley like Hearn and you expect me to take you serious? Sorry, not here.
AJ said give me 50 Mil and I'll sign.
Hearn said he will check to see if the money is there.
Hearn verified that the money is there.
Hearn said AJ decides who he fights.
Hence, AJ doesnt want this fight, and Hearn is helping him pick up his walking pace to a slight jog:boxing:
If AJ was afraid of Wilder why would he send him a contract to sign to fight AJ in England for a flat fee of 15 million? If he was scared then why send him a contract at all or even discuss fighting him.. He doesn't ever have to fight Wilder and can make great money without him. Wilder could have signed the contract and be all set with a fight with AJ and a 15 million dollar payday. He chose not to sign. WHY NOT??????
Hearn literally called the fight off as soon as Finkel said we’ll get the agreement to you by the end of the week. Think about it.

A contract with *no date* and *no venue*, Einstein. The only reason why Hearn sent that contract in the first place is because they *knew* Wilder wouldn't sign it. You Duckony nuthuggers are making the average PacIdiot look like Steven Hawking...
"I'm sending him back the contracts with a couple of notes," Finkel told ESPN on Monday. "Hopefully, there is no problem and we'll sign right after the changes are made."
"This took Matchroom by surprise never thinking that Wilder would accept their below-market offer," Finkel said. "Shortly after, Eddie Hearn went public saying that we would receive a contract by Friday, June 15th, when in fact we did not receive a contract until late on Monday, June 18th. On Tuesday June 19th, we requested a clarification of two points. They did not respond. I requested them again on Thursday, June 21st, and we finally received a response on Friday, June 22nd.
"Two days later, on Sunday, June 24th, I sent them a letter acknowledging Eddie's email of June 22, telling them they would have the contract back by Friday, June 29th. Since the contract did not state the date or the venue, I also asked for that information. These are the facts and Matchroom will have the contracts back to them by Friday, June 29th."
Finkel said it will then be up to Hearn to address the issues he pointed out.
"We don't agree on one of those issues but we will move ahead and if he wants to get it done it will get done," Finkel said. "There's nothing that should prevent this fight from getting done if Joshua and Eddie want to make the fight."
So....
Finkel says they recieved the contract Monday 18th. Hearn says he called Finkel on the Friday before saying there would be a 48hr delay drawing the contract up. So Finkel should not be surprised it arrived on Monday, but he already opens with a narrative that things are being stalled.
Finkel asked for clarification on two points on Tuesday 19th. He claims Hearn didn't respond until Friday 22nd. Who knows what the truth is here, maybe he's right? But Hearn claims one note was regarding Wilder not getting a rematch if Joshua wins. This is something he claims was in the original offer that Wilder publically accepted. He then claims Finkel conceded to this and allowed it. So he doesn't see why Finkel is raising it.
The other note was regarding the date of the fight. NOT THE VENUE. From what we can make out between the back and forth, Finkel wanted a rewording in the contract that Joshua will fight Wilder next. It was OK, Hearn said fine.
Note that it is now Sunday 24th. Everything is agreed. All Finkel has to do is send a signed contract back. He then says he will send it back on Friday 29th. Why?! If Deontay is so desperate for the fight, why 5 days later? Finkel didn't even say it would be signed. Look at the wording. He knew that the WBA were pushing hard for a signed contract to exist and they could step in at any moment.
So on the 26th June the WBA see this statement from Finkel and take it as further stalling.
Everything was agreed, nothing was signed in good time.
Bad management from Finkel. He lost his fighter the biggest payday of his life.
Explain to me how they kept putting hurdle after hurdle when D.Wilder & his team offered the 50 million that Aj asked for?
What don’t you get? They said “hmmm, $50 M, we are interested, send the terms / conditions/ contract.”
They wanted him to agree blindly. You do know this right?
