while i would of wanted to see AJ-Wilder, i think the povetkin is a tougher fight for AJ
Sure AJ could KO him, but pedvetkin is very skilled and i could see him comfortably outboxing AJ, like Wlad was doing the majority of their fight
what do you think? based on styles and not who you*want to win

No wonder you're in the red...
Povetkin is a well rounded fighter with actual talent
Wilder is just a tall windmilling chump with a punch
That's why Wilder was high fiving himself and throwing a party when he got his way out of the match, he didn't even wait for the final results that revealed minuscule traces of a previously legal substance in Povetkin's blood, he cancelled the fight immediately
Wilder took his chance to duck and ran with it
First thing, I didn't say he only goes for small guys, just that he likes it more as he can simple bully them.
Second, Martin and Breazeale aren't bums? So lasts one old guy that was outboxing the hell out of Joshua until father time called him.
Would say to you to stop talking crap, but it would be asking too much
That's alright then.
Wlad wasn't outboxing Joshua, it was a close fight. Joshua was ahead by 2 points or so when it was stopped.
Not only that but Wlad had pedigree, so it's not surprising it was a close fight. Don't forget Joshua had only had 17 fights.
The fight to make is Wilder/AJ.
This is not a bad fight but all the advantages on paper favors AJ.
Now I see people justifying this like the better fight.
lol....he had 30 seconds of a round in which it looked ortiz was doing something...yet wilder never left his feet(unlike your poosy boy AJ)
he dropped a top 3, lefthanded, HW 3x....
stop trying to talk like you are something or somebody...you are a peon...a peasant....you talk in circles because its the internet and you dont have to look someone in the eye...face to face you wouldnt say ****....
If we were face to face i'd do more than say something.
Ortiz was winning the fight when it was stopped. Not on the crooked score-cards but to anyone who knows how to score a fight.
Wilder was out for 2 rounds. Had Ortiz not gassed, Wilder was done for.
The type of opponent Joshua likes to face? Wlad, Martin and Brezeale were all tall. So no, he doesn't just go for small fighters.
The only tall fighters Wilder has faced were bums. the only decent fighters Wilder has faced are Ortiz and Stiverne, and they were small. So stop talking crap, yeah.

You think because Wilder dropped Ortiz 3 times, he didn't struggle?
You clearly don't think when you type do you? It shows. You're a proper idiot you.

nobody cares who youd pick...you are a scrub
"dont deluded yourself otherwise"??? TF???
struggle? i wish i could struggle that bad knocking a top 3 HW down 3x...lol.....i understand for you a struggle is getting through the day without killing yourself...but i dont think you really know what a struggle is.....its not like wilder had to peel himself off the floor

Povetkin doesn't have 2 rounds of stamina or a lack of punching power like Ortiz. That spells trouble for Wilder considering the struggle he went through with Ortiz. So i'd pick Povetkin to knock Wilder out. You know Wilder even struggles with bums and gets taken late into fights. Don't deluded yourself otherwise.

More orthodox you mean? If so, yes. But it won't help him in this. Plus, he is a lot smaller, the type of opponet Joshua likes to face. Styles make fights, while Povetkin is dangerous for Joshua (Joshua 60/40), Joshua is taylor-made for Wilder (Wilder 75/25)

PEDvetkin was getting his tail kicked in, and gassing horribly, against a cruiserweight ...and this was years ago...now hes like 40.....
that guy would have been a sitting duck for the end of a wilder right hand....but he wouldn't have been able to grab wilders waist and hold on for life....because hed face down tongue kissing the canvas

Povetkin MAY possibly be more skilled than Wilder. Wilder can swing wild, which makes many people discount his skillset, but he's actually a very good fighter. Povetkin is a former gold medalist, so we know he's got boxing skills.
But Povetkin, off PEDs and in the twilight of his career, is nowhere the challenge that Wilder is. He's still a very dangerous fight, but Wilder is definitely more dangerous.
Povetkin is going to get crushed .
Skill isnt everything , Wilder poses more threat bc hes a 6'7 power puncher so skill isnt the end all here bc Povetkin is 6'2 and will stand directly in front of Joshua .
I dont think Wilder fares any better bc hes easier to rattle but Povetkin brings less danger and Wilder can make Joshua fight more cautious due to unpredictability .There I must disagree with you. Wilder has a long stick that can keep Joshua at bay and at long range. In addition, he can fight off the back foot for twelve rounds, which will make it very difficult for Anthony Joshua to land power shots against him. The cautious AJ is going to have to take more chances and risks than usual against Wilder. However, if he does close the gap he runs the risk of running into a buzz saw himself; That is Deontay Wilder's straight right hand.
Povetkin is more skilled than Wilder but Wilder poses the bigger threat
This. Also Povetkin seems to be a better stylistic match up for Joshua.
Short, short arms, relatively static, just watch for the hooks.
Hell no! Povetkin won't go past four rounds against AJ. He is damn near 40, washed up and past his prime; Similarly to Wladimir Klitschko. Moreover Povetkin's style is perfect for the counter punching Joshua. He comes straight in without much head movement. That will be batting practice for Anthony Joshua.
More skilled than either Wilder or Joshua. He's old and comparatively short though. His stamina is better than Joshua and that might be a key, as it might also be for Wilder if Joshua manages to beat Povetkin. If Joshua gets winded against either Povetkin or Wilder they will dispatch him in short order.
Alexander Povetkin will be the soundest boxer Anthony Joshua has ever faced. I personally would rate a prime Sasha as having better pure boxing ability than Wladimir Klitschko. The big drawbacks for Sasha are age and size. If AJ ends up chasing him around the ring throwing the same 3 or 4 punches with a lot of opportunities to be countered, like he did against Joseph Parker, this could get interesting. If Sasha can't move as well as he used to and gasses, it could be an early night.
