So far there has been no word or contract from Eddie Hearn or Team Joshua since Wilder agreed to all of their terms earlier this week. Thus far, we haven't so much as heard a peep out of them.
Now we see what the hold up was. Eddie Hearn never had any intentions of negotiating in good faith. It's just more and more excuses coming from him. There was never any contract drawn out to begin with.
Moreover, the Canelo/Golovkin bout should have no bearing on the Wilder/Joshua bout because they are in fighting in two separate markets and venues. He keeps moving the goal post.
Now he is saying we may not see the fight until February of 2019 at the earliest for crying out loud. What a shame?
The fight isnt happening next, now hearn and aj want it at wembledy stadium so september is too soon. I havent read the responses but i bet they are full of the same madness these hearn fanatics have been spewing and the new excuse "wilder took 4 weeks to respond"
This 4 weeks excuse is weak. In the week prior to Wilder accepting, one of his managers said they were in talks and he sended a counter-offer for Hearn. He said Hearn would respond by the weekend. This response, a revised offer, is what Wilder accepted. Anyone following the negotiations should know this
Hearn is saying sh1t about AJ having his heart set on wembley and Cardiff being the only option available in October/November
AJ is now willing to take another "pay cut" to fight in wembley next year :lol1:
This fight is NOT one of those fights that am hyped for. A lot of fans and negotiation had spoil it for me. Beetching every single day like this is a massive fight between massive names.
so if it gets signed you will not be "hyped"?

If Miller does fight Pulev then from a business sense it would make sense for Joshua to fight Povetkin now, Miller in New York in December or beginning of next year and then fight Wilder at wembley end of April/May.
That would solve the issue of getting the fight at wembley time wise too.
Will it wait that long? Well I think it will do but we probably end up only having the Povetkin fight in between. That's not a foregone conclusion either, although I would prefer Wilder to fight someone tougher than Brezeale in that scenario.
Lol delay?
What delay?
Wilder said he accepted this week and Hearn said he was sending contracts basically straight away. Given Wilders team haven’t come out and said they haven’t recieved the contracts I’m assuming they were sent
I see Hearn and his blind dick ridas making a excuse about a offer 4 weeks ago. Where was the contract? It don’t matter if he agreed 4 weeks, a week ago it don’t matter and mean much until it’s a contract in front of you ready to be signed. I wish some stop being a fanboy like their being paid to do so.
According to Hearn the latest is that Wembley Stadium and September is out. They are looking at October/November in Cardiff at Principality Stadium.
Supposedly Wilder was to receive a contract yesterday. I guess we will hear something soon.
My suspicion is that something will come up and that Wilder will fight Breazeale or something and Joshua will fight Povetkin. Something tells me this fight is not next but right after next.
Yeah I don’t see it happening this year.
Nonsense. The whole four week thing is nonsense.
On May 29, Hearn said there was a two-week deadline.
11 days later, Wilder agreed.
Now the narrative has changed (again).
That 2 weeks was on top of the 2 weeks Wilder already had.
It took team wilder 4 weeks to accept Joshua’s last offer
Now they have the contract and will take another 4 weeks as they have no desire to fight Joshua and are playing a ducking game to save face

Yeah I wouldn't be surprised at a double announcement from Hearn. Povetkin in September at Wembley, Wilder in November in Cardiff.
Maybe thats the deal he wants to make but if he loses to Povetkin the Wilder fight goes out the window.

He doesnt have to stall anymore , this is what team Wilder did to guarantee NO fight next .
1 .Wilder demanding 50% for weeks before and after the Parker fight . .
2 . Wilder refusing to do commentary in the U.K for Parker fight .
3 . Team Wilder non compliance for Hearns initial offer for another 2 weeks .
4. Finkels cancelled meetings and his own counter offer with NO communications for another 2 weeks .
5 . Wilder demands of then 40% which held negotiations up ,and has just recently saying hes accepted terms of purse and place its NOT the contract though so the fight is NOT agreed to yet ( how stupid can these ppl be )....lol .
The stalling is done ,if the fight was not signed a month ago it is not happening next bc of the Canelo fight now in September . .
The fight cannot happen next in the U.S anyway according to Finkel so they are just grand standing as THEY pushed for a Joshua END of year U.S fight .
The truth is team Wilder knows its a far bigger fight in 2019 that generates more money thus will generate a HUGE second fight for them and have opted to balk long enough to where were at now and roll the dice where Joshua HAS decided a U.K fight so it worked out for them financially .
The fight can happen in October in Wales the earliest so theres no rush on the contract ,though i would guess we'll hear something today , tomorrow ? However a late August / September Povetkin fight probably pushes the fight back further and thats what Hearns biggest obstacle is in the contract .
lt doesn't really matter , one just has look at both teams and how they're being managed and advised to see which one is incompetent and what fanbase are the gullible ones ! :cool2:
OK Wilder is stalling the fight because he wants more money in 2019 but doesn't he realise he'll be one year older next year? Is he really believing he can win this fight or just cashing out to end career on nice payday?

To my understanding, Eddie sent over a contract with the final details (date, venue, other little misc things) early this morning. Hopefully things will be more clear in the coming days, having a hard time figuring this one out myseld

Hearn's probably been emailing the ABC Groups to make sure there isn't a mando fight Joshua needs to have immediately. And he's likely still trying to push Joshua down some steps so the fight can't happen right now. It'll look worse if he pushes Joshua down the steps when the fight is signed + it'll be harder to go on to another thing if he's already signed Joshua vs Wilder.
Unification bouts trump mandos
Joshua readily fought past prime Klitschko and beat him.
Wilder avoided the about-to-retire heavyweight superstar.
Go figure who held up the fight.
Can't even understand why $12.5 mil is still not enough for a guy who claims he's desperate for the fight.
The multiple titles the champ is currently holding don't even have any value to these B side clowns.
It's sick and infuriating.
