holy crap...I honestly think Ortiz probably beats just about every other HW out there not named wilder
not saying definitely.....maybe Joshua beats him but maybe he doesn't.....basically just about every other HW out there gets beat by the march 2018 version of Ortiz
I'm sure most must agree
You don’t pay attention Douglas Rudduck fights were when he was with King . You must have failed history in school as well.
Who said I had to use your benchmarks only? You act like I think highly of you or something. You're basing your assessment off one fight versus Biggs and you're questioning my acumen? :lol1:
Lol. I know you said prime Tysin and my point still stands. First, there was no one anywhere near Wilder’s dimensions then. Second, Biggs was exposed as a pro. And so was Tyson. He had his success against a Biggs and Ribalta, but also struggled versus Smith, Douglas and Ruddock, guys with longer dimensions.

You must be very young I said a Prime Mike Tyson not the Don King Version that Tyson had problems with no one . Lewis stayed in the amateurs for 4 more years to avoid him look what he did to Tyrell Biggs the Olympic Gold Medalist who was 6 Foot 5 and was suppose to be the next Ali

Tyson always struggled with height though. I think Lennox would handle him with ease.

hahaha look at all the aj cum guzzlers all in tissy "yeah i have him ahead of foreman and holyfield"...hahaha...its great...
wilder "so limited" that AJ wouldnt take 50 mil to come to the states...but would go to states for wlad rematch and jarrell miller lolol
You realise the wilder fans will take you seriously right ?
You'll only encourage them to keep posting dumbed down shyte on here bc they cant tell reality from fantasy ! :burnout:
Whatever do you mean dear friend?
Ortiz is surely the best heavyweight ever!! Who else could outbox the great deontay wilder? not Szpilka or washington.
Who else could take this guy to the championship rounds? Not Duhaupas or Molina.
Surely he must be the greatest!!
Who knows, its a difficult one to predict. The fight didn't go the way i thought it would go. I thought Ortiz would be destroyed but he did better than i thought he would, why? because Wilder allow that to happen, wilder looked like a fighter who was just loading up for one big shot, it was like watching Prince naseem towards the end of his career, he knows he has that one power KO, so instead of boxing and then waiting for that chance to come, he goes looking for it by forgetting all the basic things that you do in boxing, Wilder must have learnt his lesson in that fight, he shouldn't fall in love with his power because that would be his downfall.
I partially agree with you. Wilder was looking for Ortiz to give him an opening to land a big shot, yes. But he was also being very careful, constantly backing up, trying to avoid boxing him. This is because he knew King Kong's extensive amateur background makes him a superior boxer. He also knew that Ortiz brings some heat. I won't even say that Ortiz needed to be younger to beat Wilder. He just needed to be in better condition.
Shyte is a bidnessman. He doesn't want to take a loss as that would move him down the heavyweight pecking order.
It's the same reason he pulled out of fighting Pulev once that fight looked to be headed to Bulgaria.
Yeah it’s true bro!! Luis Ortiz is way too dangerous and for a journeyman like Whyte! Ortiz smashes through everyone with ease, especially if he fights in March!
Pulev too. 250lbs version of Larry Holmes. In fact, some say his jab is better than Holmes and he puts in one blistering performance after the other!
Got Whyte scared to death!! Whyte is looking for easy touches like AJ or Wilder. Scared of the real champ Ortiz!!
It’s because he doesn’t have the balls to fight Ortiz!!! And if he does it’s only because he knows that Ortiz hit his peak in March 2018 and will never recover.

There's a reason why Dillian Shyte ran far away from Ortiz once the WBC ordered them to fight.

Wilder struggled to keep up with his style. But then he hasn't really had preparation as his other fights have all been garbage.
For me the following would be a good bet against Ortiz
Joshua - strong favorite
Parker - favourite
Whyte - close, ortiz maybe slight favourite
Povetkin - favourite
Fury - favourite
Wilder rematch - wilder favourite again
Beyond those six though I think Ortiz would be expected to win comfortably, but do remember other fights he has struggled with, most notably the two he went on hearns matchroom cards
Hahaha!
Wilder deserves a lot of credit. No one else would even face Ortiz (including Joshua). Ortiz was undefeated for reasons, age and all. He probably still beats most of the current field, and if he doesn't it would be because of the damage done by Wilder. Anyone who thinks otherwise, get your guy in there with him (age and all).
I’m disappointed we’re not seeing Ortiz-Whyte. Would have been a good test for Whyte.
Ortiz is better than Holmes, Foreman and Holyfield but I still can’t place him ahead of Ali and Louis.
If he’s able to get KO’d by another limited heavyweight then maybe he gets the #1 spot.
We’ll see in time I guess.
5 what? hours?!?!...ya Ortiz probably would have gassed after 5 hours....but AJ might have already gassed by then too

Joshua would have KO'd that version of Ortiz in 5.

Further proof that the Wilder fanbase are the biggest crack heads of fans in boxing history , not that you need this post to show that .
The TS himself is more then enough evidence ! :burnout:
Ortiz has done ZERO to be an ATG and Wilder has arguably the weakest resume for a 6/7 title defenses at HW in history ! :yeah:
I didn't say Ortiz was an ATG
I'm also a white male from new England who has never smoked crack and makes more money than you
