What you think. It's not to make Loma fans and Bud fans arguing with each other, just discuss which fight was better without being a hater or fanboy of these fighters. And who will adapt better to the new division
LMAO
It's obvious that YDKSAB. The fight was semi-competitive for the first two rounds. After that, it turned into a sparring session - until Crawford become bored and put Horn out of his misery..
What I meant is that, through the entire fight, Horn did stop rushing in. All Crawford did was get out of his way. It worked well, but there are guys bigger and stronger than Horn in the division. If he can't disencourage that bum from coming over him he will have a hard time against guys like Spence
Why do fans of boxing always try to pin other fans of boxers against each other?
They fight in an entirely different weight class, they both prove they want to fight the best.
Why is everything a pissing contest with everybody here. Do people not know it's possible to like more than one fighter?
Loma debut against Loma was more impressive. I know the OP wanted a rational discussion but I know the idiots that post on here will probably change it into something else.
You better leave this forum bcz you are talking sense.
Loma easily. He moved up and beat a 3 division world champ who was unified and the consensus man at 135lb who's been a world champ for like 7 years of his career. Crawford moved up and beat the worst belt holder a aussie who has been a world champ for all of 2 seconds was unknown with a shyt resume before he "beat" a old washed up Pacquiao. And even still there are many who felt he didn't actually beat Pacquiao and was robbed. Thurman, Spence, Porter, Garcia, ect are the class of that division Horn is not in that discussion. Crawford simply did what EVERYONE thought Pacquiao was going to do dominate and knockout a bum in a mismatch. Horn was irrelevant without a belt and now that it's been taken he will go back to where he came from. This weekend speaks volumes about how much Pacquiao fell off then it does about Crawford or Horn.
Loma struggled and was in a dog fight but he fought a real elite 135lber. Crawford dominated but beat a weaker bum 147lber. Any top welterweight beats Horn so that's not as impressive for me.
Linares aint sh*t and beat nobody, atleast Horn has a technical W over Pacquiao
Crawford looked better but got to give Loma credit for beating the much bigger man, still give it to Crawford tho.
Oh please.
Arguing a win over Horn holds more water than a win over Linares is for noobs.

Lomachenko. He was controling the first half of the fight, fighting a tested champion who had a good weight advantage over him. Even if after the knockdown he went too passive, with time he got back. Crawford wasn't really able to keep Horn from going at him
All smoke and mirrors.
Linares was never a true champion at any time in his career.
Always lost every time he stepped up.
Name these great “true” champs Crawford beat?
And linares >>>>>>>> horn
It’s not even close
It is Loma for competition alone. Bud went for a paper title and he got it. Horn is nowhere near an elite fighter. He is a schoolteacher. I'm pretty sure he only fights during summer break, and Christmas break.
Loma could have picked up a paper title from Beltran, but he fought Linares, who might not be elite, but if not, he's not too far behind. I don't like Loma, but I do respect the man. He takes tough fights, he challenges himself. Bud is an all-time-great cherry picker. He stayed at 135 when Khan, Maidana, DSG, Matthysse, Peterson and others were at 140. Once all of them moved up to 147, 140 was barren of proven talent. Then he moved up to 140. Then he moves to ww and goes straight for the Hornet.
Bud looks great against B and C level fighters. Loma looks great against A and A- competition.

Multi-quote b*tch! You're a lame Billy. LINEAL, DEAL WITH IT!
No arguments as usual but hide under his childish mindset when get exposed as a fraud poster, 1hourbum ladies and gentlemen
Who looked better? Crawford, but Horn was C-class. Lomachenko overall was better because he was fighting in a 10-15 lbs disadvantaged, knocked him out in the 10th and his opponent was the best in his division besides Mikey Garcia.
Agreed but I would not mind seeing him against other top welterweights. He's not afraid to engage and force some action. Crawford turned him into a punching bag.
I can't believe at one point Crawford vs Lomachenko was even talked about happening. Crawford would kill him, hes just as good as would be absolutely huge compared to Lomachenko.
I think Linares was clearly the better of the opponents but Crawford looked awesome. Lomachenko looks like he's already stretching the limits of his weight while Crawford looked like he was strong and belonged at 147 against a big strong welterweight last night. Both looked good but Crawford looked like he did whatever he wanted in there.
That fight showed me Mikey doesn't have good defensive skills. Lipinets landed a lot of shots on him. Can you imagine Garcia allowing Prograis to hit him like that.
compubox credited lipinets with landing negative 40 punches what are you talking aboot!
Linares was the best beltholder at 135, a great fighter himself, Horn the weakest link at 147.
Linares isn't a great fighter. Research his career and his losses.
Lomachenko beat a much better fighter but he looked vulnerable at times. Crawford just obliterated an overmatched opponent. Hard to really say, but I think Crawford is the better fighter overall.
