Loma is WBA (Super) Champion.
Davis is WBA (Super) Champion.
Can't Loma force Davis to protect his belt against Loma as Loma can step down in weight to 130 easily?
Another situation: Pacquiao - Loma. If Pac wins regular WBA belt at 147 and Loma has WBA Super at 135.
Shouldn't Loma become 4-weight division champ if he wins Pac (catch-weight or not)? I mean, Pac gonna be a up to 147lbs Champ and Loma - up to 135lbs Champ so Loma should get a 147lbs title shot no matter at what limit they fight while Pac should get a title shot only if fight is at 135lbs.
Right? Or so would be if organization would follow logic.
They are not even in the same division
I was under the impression that Loma moved up from 126 to 130 to gain WBO belt for a reason that Roman Martinez (same belt owner of higher division) was obligated to fight a champion moving up to him. And then Loma was saying about Beltran before Linares fight as if this was not up to Beltran's option to disagree (I know about same promoter).
I mean, isn't this logic? It must be like this: Champion has right to give a call :boxing: to another Champion of same organization if he decides to move up in weight or down (if he can pass the weight limit for the latter).
Just to shut some people up, sure. Then again those same people would just say someone else beats him.
Of course. See how quickly Walters and Rigo were thrown on the trash heap after having to hear for months how easily they'd win.
Loma could simultaneously hold every belt in every weight class fighting a fight a week and he'd still be a bum who'd lose to some other guy they are willing to hype then dismiss at the drop of a hat.
You know how stupid that sounds Oscar got dropped at 130, Zab Judah dropped Floyd, Floyd faked a low blow when Jesus Chavez drop him with a body shot . People get dropped, but a Champion gets up and wins. I believe that is an Ali saying
Casual fans view knockdown of guy they don't like = exposed as a bum.
Davis is gonna move up, anyway......If he can catch Loma, while he's (loma) running from mikey, or haney, loma is stuck at 135 like ggg was stuck at 164 because of WARd. Loma got dropped in his first fight at 135, he's gonna get KO'd.:burnout:

I don't know if Loma can force him. But he should challenge him at 130, make him quit so that Floyd, Errol and the rest of the gang shut the f*ck up, and then move right on with his career.
Yea I agree 100%

Ward was dropped by Darnell Boone who's something like 25-25 including losses to junior middleweights. A knockdown doesn't ruin a guys career or even define him. Loma's was flash and he got up and KO'd the guy who Mikey Garcia ducked.
Why should Loma have to move up again? He was an average sized Featherweight that's already moved up a few times.

Different divisions. Tank would just drop whatever belt he had though if there was a scenario they could fight. He got upset at Floyd at the suggestion he could fight Loma. It's obvious he doesn't want to face him and with good reason. He'd get smoked.
Frankly speaking, at first I thought this thread was garbage :) but the more I think about it now I realize it might actually work. For example, if Loma officially notify the WBA board that he would like to go down in weight, they might well make him a mandatory (for Davis). :)
If that happened Floyd and Davis would make a joke of themselves for spent bribes to gift Gervonta a "Super" champion belt without fighting a previous "Super" Machado.
I voted yes, but he should not because Loma has bigger fish to fry
Agreed. Although it would be pretty funny watching Tank shit his pants, it's not funny enough that Loma should derail his march to glory for.
Loma is trying to make history, not spank silly children.

I do agree with this. The only people who have confidence in Davis are those around him. Davis himself literally acts like a scared kid when being confronted with the idea that he might be "forced" to fight Lomachenko, proving his hood rat sh1t is all a front. He knows damn well he'll get his ass handed to him if he gets in that ring. The interesting part is he says he wants to spar Floyd? GTFOH. Floyd would teach that boy a lesson he would never forget.
