the atmosphere in a UK fight is so much better than a fight in the US. I don't know why that is, is it that American people just don't care about boxing as much as the UK people do? Is it that the UK people are more passionate. Whenever I watch a US fight the atmosphere is dead, fans in stadium seem uninterested.
Compared to that atmosphere we just witnessed today in Leeds. Wow.

Because they're not coked up and drunk like it's 1989.
That's only the pro sports. Collegiate is where its at for atmosphere and traditions in American sports
Not saying you're wrong or anything... I'm not from America.... but even this video displays the exact things I'm talking about (regimented/organised support in the way of; marching bands, cheerleaders, signs saying when to cheer etc).... it just seems the way America supports teams, is built on a certain foundation of regiment from the organisation/club/franchise itself... I don't know... I'm just looking from the outside in... but it just seems strange... very inorganic.

America has a very weird way to 'support' their team etc. It is very regimented, with cheerleaders and music etc.... there is a very organised nature to it... and without the 'composers' of that 'support' i.e. cheerleaders, mascots, music being played, an MC, etc..... they don't really have anything improvised to fall back on.
UK support (and supporters from most other places in the world) is super disorganised.... and it is just random shouting, cheering etc.... and the songs are usually just made up by fans and don't happen when prompted... people just start singing them.... and they catch on.

It's part of our culture in all our sports, we go to these events to have a good time, and the promoters have done a great job in making a boxing event accessible to the general public. American boxing events just seem like an excuse for rich people to try and be seen or spend money at the casino.
The UK's biggiest sport is soccer(futbol) as with every country in the world except for Amerikka. They've found a way to promote their fighters and get the best out of it. In Amerikka, it's the opposite. Every sport is big here except soccer and boxing has taken a back seat to football, basketball, baseball, the past few decades with the cherry picking and excess of titles. .Are you deliberately spelling America Amerikka or are you just a very poor speller?

US fans as you can see on this forum are usually crying and complaining.. barely any of them are real fans. The guys with the most support are mostly from outside of the US like GGG, Loma, Canelo and their fights are lit. Very few US fighters have that kind of real support.
Who says it's better? Many English fans are rude and disrespectful. They boo the visiting boxer and they boo his national anthem too. They sing as if singing is going to help their fighter win. I have never understood a single word they sing. They never finish a song and only sing in short bursts. They are poor sports if their fighter loses and they boo the winner. Americans like and support our boxers we just aren't nuts about it.We don't buy a plane ticket and follow them over seas to cheer the on. That's nuts. We are used to having good champions. We support them but we don't go crazy over them.

Brits are just thirsty for some approval it's like a child desperate for love or something
America did a number on their psyche
essentially America is like our retarded son who has immense physical strength. To the point he can leave us hiding in our own cupboard
Promoters in the US need to start playing Sweet Caroline before the fight starts doe...
Hands, touching hands, reaching out
Touching me, touching you
Sweet Caroline
da da da
Good times never seem so good
so good so good so good...
I've been inclined...
da da da...
