....and no way in hell canelo won that fight. lederman card is accurate, canelo was burnt after five rounds, always on the back foot, against the ropes. his body language didn't help him either, he looked really exhausted. kellerman is such a c0cksucker, canelo was missing too, lading on GGG's gloves and elbows but never said a thing about it, he only mentioned when canelo made golovkin miss.
and that 118-110 card doesn't help canelo or GBP's credibility
Exactly this, I Canelo only winning 3-4 rounds I say 3-4 because there was one round that I really debate even giving to him.
The draw was even questionable, I see no way you could have scored it 114-114 If you actually were watching what was happening.
yeah, being generous you can give him the 10th round (a round that lederman gave to GGG) but at the same time you can give GGG the 11th (a round lederman gave to canelo) still, it wasn't enough to win. personally i gave him 2,3, 11 and 12. lederman's card is acurate as i said.
How are there dumbasses that actually had canelo winning? All it takes is one, and then the dumbasses come out the woodwork.
I honestly do believe a lot of boxing fans do it just to be different, this fight wasn't a back and forth it was the champion on the front foot landing more nearly all the rounds, throwing more, controlling the tempo the fight was fought at.
I believe even Sugar Ray Leonard said something in the past along the lines of If you want to fight on the backfoot you need to do it very convincingly, did Canelo do that at any point of the fight?
Winning a fight on the backfoot is easy If you're not being hit more than you're hitting your opponent, Canelo fought negative that 100% should be took into consideration with close rounds, but if judges did that the fight probably would have been score 118-110 to GGG.
God forbid we actually had a proper scoring scheme set in place which would blatantly expose robberies and would push through a cleaner boxing which awards the rightful victor, instead we keep on talking about drug yet these fighters still carry on getting away with using them.

The whole night went how I expected it would. I expected a competitive fight, but with GGG being the clear winner in the end. Followed by the at least one judge scoring a ridiculous card to Canelo.
Canelo juiced enough just to get through 12 rounds with Golovkin. Judges ruled a draw because the fix was in to set up the rematch for another money grab. Unfortunately Canelo screwed that all up. Shame he didn’t appreciate the gift he was given. Next time Golovkin will discipline the youngster for disrespecting the sport.
I honestly think people are upset with the 118 scorecard more than the result. The 118 card was criminal, but the fight was still close. Even Lampley said that was a highly acceptable descion when it was announced. I personally had GGG winning by 1 round but I can definitely see a draw.
yeah that's understandable. Byrd's card was horrible, but it still was a close fight. This 10-2 and 8-4 nonsense is hilarious
It's hard to find clear rounds to give Canelo...but the problem is, it's also hard to clearly give a lot of those rounds to ggg too. Comes down to who people want to win/lose in a fight like that where not much decisive happened. I thought ggg won, but can understand how haters could find rounds to give Canelo to satisfy their agenda. It's not like many rounds were dominant.
Ditto buddy
This place exploded in tears and anger after the fight. I thought it was controversial for a good reason and most here would see why... But no. Canelo really did give a damn good account of himself though.
if only it was that simple...canelo did not win round 1 or round 11. round 10 was a back and forth round maybe he won it? sure if you make straw mans you can come to that conclusion that he won the early and later rounds but its just not true. he won some of them is the correct way to frame it
So you scored it 10-2 or 8-4? I score fights as to who lands what. When a glove touches a face or the body(not elbows) I score the round for who landed the most and affective. I don't give rounds for shoeshining(dlh/srl) Neither do I give punches for coming forward. If I would score every fight that way, I would have scored a win for Chavez against Sweet Pea. I also try to watch fights without HBO commentary. It's the most wonderful thing in the world not having to listen to Lampley or Ledderman. So if you had GGG winning the fight, that's cool, but there is no way he won 8 rounds and DEFINITELY not 10. The same goes for Canelo. And please please PLEASE don't bring up compubox. But hey, I gave Mcgregor the first 3 rounds against Mayweather and I had his first fight against Miandana 7-5 (in favor of Mayweather) unlike most people.
neither guy won 8 rounds and neither guy won 10 rounds. Canelo won the early and last rounds. GGG won most in between. 7-5 either way or a draw is more than fair. 10 rounds to EITHER fighter on anyone's scorecard is a nothing but horsesh*t.
