Loma deserves it in my opinion. In fact I would put him number 1 because he is 30 and still in his prime. I would put GGG at number 2 because of his age of 36. No boxer is in his prime at 36. GGG is still very good though and I think he can still beat any middleweight.
As ever with The Ring its Oscars agenda showing through with Golovkin being #1. Easy to put Canelo number 1 if he beats Golovkin in the rematch, easy excuses can be made. TBRB have Lomachenko #1 now, which is the true P4P rankings ever since the rule changes at The Ring.
I can understand the GGG sympathy of the list makers given that the Canelo rematch falling apart had nothing to do with him but I think if we're being honest Loma is the guy right now.
Crawford will stay in the conversation but needs to take one of the elite names at WW to take #1
Mikey seems kind of high but I haven't thought through what my top 10 would look like so it's whatever. He's a very good fighter anyway.
When did Canelo shoot up so high? Maybe I haven't been looking at this list regularly enough anymore.
How in the world can you rank Golovkin above Crawford or Loma. I just don't get it. He's a great fighter but he's not dominating recently like those two are.Crawford has the weakest resume in this list what are you talking about
The problem with P4P is that it becomes static. It isn't fluid as it should be, it is based mostly on past history vs. where a guy is currently. Guys holding the top spot when in reality they aren't the best P4P fighter in the game. The P4P thing itself has got kind of ridiculous.
