What kind of ratings does he get? Has he headlined his own cards?
Love, Mammoth
From what Rafael says, he sells out stadiums and does a lot of PPV's against bums if that tells you anything. Japan has a big craving for boxing that has yet to be even remotely filled.
He headlined with the N'Dam fight which seemed to do good figures, so I imagine he'd have decent enough pulling power in future big fights.
Yes he did. I see him come on last here in Tokyo..
he’s training in Vegas though isn’t he? He knows he has to fight the best, and he admitted it’s gonna be a great challenge.
My woman met him at a Debeers Diamond event in Tokyo, roppongi hills, Mori Bldg.. she said he was skinny, but a polite guy.
Wrong. Shiro-Guevara was the main event.

BoxRec does not list fights in the order they are televised but by their own ranking system. I watched those shows and Murata was on after the smaller guys, even though their fights were more meaningful
I am Japanese. Murata is very famous in Japan but 30 million viewers is wrong.Arum is liar.
TV ratings
N'Dam1 17.8%
N'Dam2 20.5%
Blandamura 14.7%
attendance
N'Dam2 8,500
Blandamura 11,000
Tokyo Dome sold out is impossible
Could you explain what those percentages for ratings mean?

You're discussing with someone who said that when Brook was weighed 30 and 7 days before the Golovkin fight, they cheated the scales to make Brook seem heavier.
Lmaoooooooooooooooo
You all need to stop, you're just getting owned... just let it go, hes not a headliner, he's another bum for gaynaddy gay 97k
He's headlined. Proof was shown.
FFS you are clueless:
One title fight went as expected in Yokohama today, while another most assuredly did not.
In the main event, WBA Middleweight Champion Ryota Murata overpowered challenger Emanuele Blandamura in his first title defense, using his customary pressure to wear the Italian down before finishing him with a heavy right hand in the eighth round. ESPN has highlights and you can watch the full fight on YouTube here.
Murata (14-1, 11 KO) confirmed that he wants a crack at “Super” champ Gennady Golovkin, who has an embarrassment of riches when it comes to challengers at the moment. Blandamura (27-3, 5 KO) suffers his third knockout loss, having fallen to Billy Joe Saunders and Michel Soro in European title bouts.

Just stop man. If Golovkin doesn't fight Canelo/Saunders/Derevyanchenko next he's cherry picking. Murata isn't a top 6 MW.FFS you are clueless:

Higa headlined the last event. FFS,FFS dont you know anything? From ESPN: In the co-feature, Cristofer Rosales (27-3, 18 KOs), 23, of Nicaragua, knocked out Daigo Higa (15-1, 15 KOs), 22, of Japan, in the ninth round to win a vacant flyweight world title.

Now this guy who no one on has even talked about will be hyped up..this is sad as hell man
Not hyping. Not trying to at least. I was told Murata wasn't popular and has never headlined a card. I was looking for clarification because I've heard he's drawn as much as 15 to 30 million viewers in Japan.
