Robert Garcia or Freddie Roach would be ideal.
Ryan needs to upgrade his arsenal. He needs to learn how to catch & shoot, combination punching, and go to the body more.
i don't know if i agree. those guys cannot give a 19 year old kid not making millions a ton of their time. he needs to be in the gym every day, even without a fight scheduled, to work on things. roach and garcia probably won't get out of bed for less than 10%.
There's levels to this doe. Once you start proving yourself in the pros I think sticking with your dad would be like making it to the NBA & having your elementary coach still working with you.
I mean maybe sometimes it works out, but it seems like you'd gain more from a guy who's been a professional trainer for decades & maybe came up with Roach, a Mayweather, a Eddie Futch or some other tip top guy teaching them the ins & outs of the game vs your father who's got the same level of experience as you pretty much.
Yea that makes sense but sometimes the fighter and coach work better when they’re “connected”
No head movement. No jab. No defense. Or are you saying that flaws cant be noticed when you win?
"No jab" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH stop being emotional just cuz you dislike him be objective and tell the truth his skills are good he showed a bit of everything tonight
I disagree his dad took him to where he's at, from nothing to one of the top amateurs and now a top professional prospect just give him time. People only criticize him extra because he gets a lot of attention
He has no inside game whatsoever .
His daddy doesn't really know much about strategy imo.
Why keep backing up and not make the other back up? Valez can't fight going backwards.
Ryan needs to punch from different angles too.
Garcia won't take him in b/c Garcia has so many jr lights already, I think.
Among them is Bryan Lua.
The Wild Card is a long drive from Riverside . No way they drive there everyday.
The kid is 19 lol.
Not only is he ONLY 19, look at his physique..he's got a little boy body. He's pretty strong for someone who isn't even near his full manstrength yet. He looks 14.

Didn’t watch the fight and have never seen him fight but I agree. Too much loyalty when it comes to trainers.
