can someone explain to me whats up with Spence and not doing VADA testing. Errol is my favorite fighter right now, but that seems a little suspect. is there any reason he wouldnt do VADA except that he's using illegal supplements?
Wasn't aware he had to as IBF champion. Vada is WBA and WBC. As IBF champion he isn't in their rankings to isn't subject to those rules.
He had no issues in UKAD random testing against brook and had no issues. I'm sure he would happily be tested should an opponent wish to have it instead in the contract but they most likely don't want to pay for it.
AJ pays vada to do testing on him and opponents throughout camp and it costs him 40,000 GBP every time.
Yes, a flat out refusal definitely does raise red flags. I've heard his gym is considered to be a dirty one.
I like Spence and hope that he's not hiding anything. He's the real deal in the ring, great style, likable enough personality etc; but I do have my suspicions about him.
Dirty gym?
Spence one of the very few champions in all of boxing who refused to sign up with the Clean Boxing Program and so he gets removed from the rankings. Thats very suspcious to me, i mean most other champions/top fighters around his weightclass are enrolled, Charlos, Hurt, Garcia, Porter, Horn, Crawford etc.
The WBC have released this list of all the fighters who have been removed from their rankings after refusing to sign up for the 365 VADA drug testing programme.(*The ones with asterisks have since signed up and been reinstated) pic.twitter.com/DeLiTDwPQi— Michael Benson (@MichaelBensonn) April 20, 2018

I'm suspicious of every successful fighter now who does not test 365, Spence included. If I were a fighter who was scheduled to fight Spence I'd ask for 16 weeks of testing.
...Hey, I could ask.
He did it and UKAD for Brook but that’s bc Brook wanted it in contract. Other than that I doubt there’s been the need for it unless it’s mandated or the opposing party needs extra testing. People talk about his nips a lot but dude silenced that when he dropped a photo of him pre olympics with Jamel herring and nips were the same.
Hmm I never knew he wasn't taking tests? He is also my favorite fighter at this time. I truly trust he isn't doing anything suspicious. I hope someone can shed some light on this.
