What's the reasoning behind 3 belts? And no to ex fighters being judges, not that an ex fighter shouldn't be allowed to judge, but rather that being an ex fighter does not automatically make you a good judge
2 belts would be ok, sorta like how baseball has the AL and NL, Football has the Afc and Nfc, and Basketball has the East and the West.
As far as judges, I have heard some former pros give some terrible judgements after fights. Personally I think judges at the championship level should go through quarterly training and be subject to polygraph especially in Nevada where there can be millions of betting dollars on the line.
I also think there should be 5 judges for championship fights, 3 ringside, and 2 judges watching closed circuit.
If there's an advantage to having four belts over one I'd say it is harder for one man to hold the division hostage by being inactive, or ducking someone etc.
& ex boxers as judges....
If we're getting a vote I'm all for one belt per division.
