Fury and both Wilder know this is a risky fight. More importantly they both know there is a lot less money available than a Joshua fight, and if they were to lose this fight then their payday chances reduce significantly. Probably more so for Wilder because of his knock out capabilities and lack of domestic build up.
Therefore I doubt either would want the fight before Joshua.
Wilder LET Fury in the ring bc he KNEW he couldnt fight him with the rematch CLAUS he had with Klitchko ! :cool2:
Yet didnt show up at a PAID commentators job for Joshua fight bc he was told it wouldn't be scripted ??:bottle:
Serious Short bus logic
It’s about hyping a potential big $ fight down the road
He didn’t show because Hearn and AJ acted like broads and didn’t want to be confronted and put on the spot because there’s no way they could control the narrative if Wilder challenged AJ
AJ would have to save face and accept the challenge l. But i know with you short bus Simple Jack mind he didn’t show because he was afraid of Whyte
Obviously Wilder would be interested
That’s why after he KTFO of Spilzka he let Fury in the ring to build some hype for a potential show down
You know something AJ / Hearn has no interest in doing with Wilder
But because was dealing with his own issues was suspended and no one knew when/if he’d be back why bring up his name
But yeah Wilder don’t want it
WTF? I liked Fury for years but his fans are mostly retarded. The guy isn't even a boxer right now. He's going on 3 years of not only inactivity, but obesity. The guy will never be the same again but if he does somehow become relevant again, Wilder will go after him like he's trying to with Joshua.
Wilder has expressed interest in fighting Fury in many interviews. Wilder actually dared Fury to get back in shape. Both guys are dogs and will be happy to fight each other, unlike ...
He just beat a live Ortiz.
In a very entertaining back n forth.
That's also true but pay attention how he and dibela keep talking in pre fight interviews that he didn't have to fight Ortiz but he choose harder opponent himself. That means it wasn't his choice and was basically forced to fight him, pressure from network I suppose who got tired of him cherry picking for 3 years. Pay attention to details ;)
Boxing needs more of this. That was a great night. Honestly, Wilder's last 3 Showtime fights (Szpilka, Stiverne II, Ortiz) have been very enjoyable Saturdays.
People are literally just blindly hating on the man now
I dont enjoy watching Wilder fight cuz he cant box but the more i watch him, i realize that he can end anybody at any given moment with one punch. So that makes him dangerous and i wouldnt feel comfortable about picking Fury.
Well he also doesnt seem to be interested when Fury were active, even during and after fury blatantly call him out at one of his post match interview
Why do people choose to completely and utterly lie when it comes to Deontay Wilder? "I will baptize you" is one of the most iconic lines is a post fight interview.
If Wilder beats Fury right now he’s going to get zero credit. Same for AJ.
Fury needs a comeback fight to look good first.
Now if Fury insist on the fight and the money is good I’m sure they would take it.
But a Fury fight is much better once he gets a win under his belt and knocks off some rust.
