Ortiz was a respected contender and Wilder knocked him out. It was a good win for Wilder. Ortiz is old and slow but he hits hard and has good boxing skills. I don't think he would be an easy fight for anybody. Parker was an undefeated champion and AJ clearly beat him so that was a good win for AJ. I don't think either AJ or Wilder are much if any better than Miller or Povetkin. They both can be hit and hurt and they both only average throwing about 35 punches a round. They are both good champions but could lose to each other or Miller or Povetkin in my opinion. Fans of both Wilder and AJ want them to be all time great heavyweights and maybe they will be but I doubt it from what I have seen so far.
I agree but let's be honest for a second. You rank Tyson pretty high but who did he beat that is as good as Joshua and Wilder? I don't think Ruddock or Bruno are as good as Wilder and Joshua.
Just because Wilder beat him. Wilder bandwagons are all upping Ortiz up.
Joshua, Parker, Miller, Whyte, and Andy Ruiz all beat Ortiz.
This is a 38-48 yr old man we are talking about here.
He's subject to year round testing by UKAD and also WBA clean boxing program which I think uses VADA.

So it looks like Joshua is not a fighter who tests all year long. "I sign up three months in advance every time and I have to give them two slots in the day where I definitely will be – so they are able to drug test me", he said.
However, I did say a minimum of 12 weeks and it appears (unless "3 months in advance doesn't mean 3 full months) he is doing that minimum.
Look at the guys recently who were suspect (Ortiz, Povetkin and Canelo) when the testing got a little stricter. I honestly believe that the VADA testing will catch cheats IF it is used year round or at minimum 12 weeks before fights. If Joshua is doing year round testing, (and I don't know that he is) I'm going to have to believe him.

Hold on, didn't say they were shyt, I'm just saying they were hyped up as elite class opponents, which they clearly were not.
How are top 10 fighters and mulit division/lineal champions not elite?
dont you dare tell us that abraham and dawson are A-level wins. werent you also saying that barrera was a solid win before bivol whooped him easier than ward did.
Did I said "who hypes? the Abraham win..RIGHT???
And Dawson was the lineal 175 champ ant he??
what did I type wrong?
Ummm, look at him... I don't need to give him anything. You think he looks clean? Oooook

I don't know much about how Joshua tests. Does he stay in the VADA program between fights? If he does, you should certainly give him the benefit of the doubt.

I actually think Ortiz gets underrated because of his age and probably more so now Wilder has beaten him.
Ortiz is a bad man and avoided for good reason despite his age he's ****ing dangerous.
I wouldn't at all be surprised if he beat any of the other HWs.
He just lost still nobody wants to fight him, strange for this current era. Should tell anybody all they need to know really.
How about if Joshua gets off the sh1t?

Ortiz off PEDs is no longer special, I agree. The same will be true, I think, for Povetkin if/when he meets Joshua

Oh here we go... everyone claimed he'd beat wilder and now he's overrated lol... can't win.
Ortiz is belittled as a 50 year old PED cheat now, yet nobody is screaming anything about what Parker was, lmao. Oh he was the young gun who would give AJ that classic fight and Parker was a bigger threat than Wilder. Wilder destroys Stiverne and yet Takam beats Wilder and everyone on his resume. We know how this works UK fans. We're not new to this, YOU ARE! Lmao. Pac's fans put every fighters fans on notice with their lunacy. And this was after Pac was ko'd by Torrecampo and Singsurat. Lmao

Guerrero-multi division champ, mandatory
Ortiz-wbc champ
Hatton p4p top 10 boxer
Berto-former 2 time champ
Maidana-WBA CHAMP
Baldomir-lineal champ
Kessler-unification bout
Abraham=2 division champ-who the hell hypes this tho?
Dawson-former lineal champ at 175
how the hell can you act like these are sh1t fights?

He's a good fighter and it was a good win for wilder. I don't rate wilder too highly but credit where it's due, he came through in a really tough fight.
Yep, same tactics Floyd and Ward fans used. Hyping up the Guerrero, Ortiz, Hatton, Berto, Maidana, Baldomir, Kessler, Abraham, Dawsons as A-level opponents. Marciano gets knocked for a KO win over a 38 year old Louis--a washed up Louis who was still better than Ortiz on any day.
I do think Ortiz beats Miller, Whyte and Ruiz though. That is how weak this HW division is today.
