Danny Garcia v Shawn Porter. Who you got?

Don't think Danny will catch him? I can see him getting out worked, but Danny struggles with "boxers" Danny is a good counter-puncher, and he will catch him I just don't think it will be enough. But then if Broner of all people dropped Porter then who knows

I've gone for Porter. I really like watching him. He's gutsy and takes it to his opponent.

Porter outworks Danny IMO. I think it actually has the makings of a pretty good fight - nice styles mesh.

I think Garcia can pull this off in a very ugly, scrappy fight--as every Porter fight typically turns out to be. Porter is sloppy and Garcia will counter him. He'll take some shots because he is easy to hit, but he'll out-score Porter for a UD win, maybe 115-113.

Porter by close but clear decision, 8-4. He's too quick, strong and active for Danny.

Shay Pizzy should win this on volume alone. Danny too economical with his shots.

It worked on Matthysse because he's bigger than him. That won't fly with Porter Even at that mate he still struggled with Lucas, the freak eye incident with Lucas helped Danny out big time! It's unfortunate Danny decided to give us a trash fight with Rios instead of the rematch with Lucas, I get that DG fans don't wanna see it, but most neutrals would have rather have had that.

Really don't think he can box and move his best bet is to use that Lucas Matthysse gameplan, but I still don't think it'd work because the referee would likely give Danny into trouble for it. It worked on Matthysse because he's bigger than him. That won't fly with Porter

I pick Porter by a very small margin. He throws more punches and tries harder to win. I think it's a very close fight.

Good fight I like Danny to win. Better skills and should be able to land those money hooks on porter. Porter would have to turn in a margarito-type performance and break Danny with pressure and physicality

I like this fight. I'm always interested in how guys will deal with Porter's style. Right now, I'm leaning towards Garcia is a close one. I'll be rooting for Porter though.

Good fight. At 147 I’ll take Porter, but it’s close.

This is a close one, I favor Porter on workrate but he has been made to look downright terrible in moments by Thurman and Brook. Danny will really have to be put his foot on the gas here and not be "completely committed to the counterpunch," as Thurman said. I got Porter by close UD unless Danny ups his rate and/or hurts Shawn.

IMO Garcia will counter Predictable Porter to a win :boxing:

I picked Garcia. If it goes to the scorecards he pretty much wins automatically since the judges over the years have favored him for some reason. He should arguably have 2 or 3 losses on his record right now. Porter has a reckless style but since Garcia has one of the best chins in boxing Porter won’t be able to hurt him. I say Garcia wins 7-5 or 8-4 on the scorecards regardless of how the fight goes down. Porter needs a KO to win & I don’t see that happening.

Danny garcia uses porter head first style against him and wins. Imo
