DEONTAY WILDER has accepted Anthony Joshua's challenge and is ready to take him on at Wembley this summer. That's according to Wilder's co-manager Shelly Finkel, who has confirmed a blockbuster heavyweight unification bout is edging closer. Joshua beat Joseph Parker in Cardiff on Saturday with a dominant points win to add the WBO strap to his IBF, WBA and IBO titles. Click Here To Read More]
Remind me who he won the wbc belt off again?
Whoever had it....Does it really matter he is doing what he is supposed fight WHOEVER they put in front of him and knock their asses out u can talk **** about all the heavyweight division, it only so many thay really care about getting in shape to fight and to fight their best only a few Wilder is just trying to unify so that bone **** u talking about is just that ****
Not a coward at all or a joke. I'm saying there's no rush and wilder and his fans have no say in when the fight happens. You can't always get what you want, when you want.
So would prefer them to no fight, not unify the divison?? why???
That's the referee not the location. It wasn't a UK ref. Parkers team chose that ref. In America Wilder gets an extra 30 seconds after a round to recover.
It's Eddie hearn making the refs behave like this.

Of course there isn't a rush. ****en coward. His fans are cowards just like the stiff one. Joshua doesn't run ****, and if he bypasses Wilder, Wilder can move on since he has the true hvw belt. Rich with no respect, and boxing always comes full circle.
I know Barry. I don't know Eddie. From what I've seen so far fast Eddie isn't his dad. And talks haven't begun yet. Basically Barry is saying quit being a dick son and make the fight.
Apple does not fall far from the apple tree. I'll believe it when I see it. I don't trust both guys. Dishonesty is a key part of their playbook.
not worried at all. just saying he doesnt get to pick and choose when it happens, him and his 'fanbase' have really annoyed me today. its joshua throwing him a bone, not the other way round and people need to realise that. if it happens next- good, if it doesnt then thats also fine with me. people need to keep their mouths shut and stop acting so entitled.
So the 2 best undefeated heavyweights shouldnt fight??? you are a joke foreal
its irrelevant whether youre ready or not. youll get the fight when your offered it. if team joshua wants it in 2019, then thats when its happening. youve fought 39 bum fights you dont get to suddenly dictate when fights happen after years of cherry picking.
you really are a coward arnt you??
Bro, you are giving Barry too much credit. He is a BS'er like his son. Like father - like son. He talks about Wilder being realistic when no offer was provided for AJ-Wilder.

Yer but i seen the exact same type or reffing in parker/ takam fight.
Any sign of action the reff steps in.
Plus AJ could take his own time outs whenever he felt the need.
Who turns their back on a fight and walks over to his corner.
Parker should of cut him off and knocked him out for being such a *****.
Wilder can fight really well from long range. He does not have to be up close to fight. AJ is the one who needs to be up close. So, expect the referee to allow more inside and dirty fighting. it wont matter though - AJ still gets knocked out.
Hopefully the fight doesnt happen in the UK with all this dodgy reffing.
Its not just the last AJ fight im referring to it made Parker v Takam i saw the exact same thing.
The reffs dont let the fight progress fluidly when hes constantly involved.
I hate watching boxing in the UK because of this.
Dont you worry - the dodgy referees will be there. But Wilder wont need referees. AJ gets knocked out embarrassingly in front of his delusional fans.
As I said, im ok with a two fight deal if Joshua isn't on that bull****. Boxing always comes full circle. The criticism that Joshua has received made Barry Hearn talk to his son. The time is now to make the fight. Make it next or deal with mandatories in a showcase and then make the superfight. Boxing needs this fight!

here we gooooooooooooooooo
Wilder doesn't care about the split. Just make the fight - 60/40, 70/30, 80/20, 90/10 - dont matter. He just wants AJ to sign up for the ass whooping and Wilder will be there to deliver. That's it.
AJ better go to the states then the ref and judges look so fair ..
Kov/Ward, GGG Canelo, Wilder Ortiz (need 5 days to recover Mr Wilder no problem American Express that will do nicely sir). yeah I can see AJ getting a fair shake .. not.
Only way to be fair is two fights one UK, one Stateside.
Only way wilder wins is by knockout, no way in hell he gets a decision in Great Britain
And who are you, a butthurt nobody alt who creates alts to deal with Wilder's fans who get on your damn nerves lol...
damn it... and dis wilder dude jumps in from nowhere....u guys are freaking awesome

Someone missed the Hatton/Mayweather fight...
So would you rather the fight be held in the UK were at the first sign of a clinch or inside work it gets broken up or bring it elsewere were the fight will actually allowed to happen?

I see many Wilder fans saying Joshua is scared of him. Newsflash: EVERY fighter has some fear at some point going into a fight... Wilder being no exception. AND you can add the insane level of blabbering Wilder has done lately to prove Wilder has fear too. This is certainly no blowout fight either way. Personally I think Joshua's jab will set up a win for him, but no matter what, at the end of the day we boxing fans will get a great all-action fight. Can't wait! :boxing:
