The hate for Deontay Wilder IS COMPLETELY MORONIC

At this point, people just look for a reason to not discontinue hating Wilder.

There's no rationalization needed. Hearn doesn't want Wilder there to promote Wilder-Joshua, he wants Wilder there to push Wilder-Whyte. If you believe that, you will believe anything. For the record - those two things are not mutually exclusive. Hearn - "Here Deontay have over double your career highest pay day, and help build the fight which will be over 10 times your highest pay day, deal?" Wilder - "No I'm going to fight a harder fight for half the money, and then I'm going to fight Dominic Brezeale for my usual $1.5 million." Good call!

But, i dont hate Deontay, far from it. I have defended him for many years when people said he was a bum, i saw something in him and i still do. I dont hate his personality though he is cringy as hell. That said, recently this whole "Joshua is ducking me" schtick has been pretty embarrassing. And the way some US fans have gobbled it up has been pretty sad as well. I don't think either fighter is scared, i dont think either fighters team is scared. I think both teams are happy to let this build a bit, and have been since those initial talks last year. I agree. Wilder has been smart to market himself using Joshua's name to piggyback and get more attention and it's worked. He's fooled the people who are stupid enough to fall for it. GGG built a bigger fan base because he was painted as the avoided one (a bit more justified a claim than Wilder's though) and that caught on (though GGG wasn't cringe or loudmouthed) I'm sure both teams have had more more advanced discussions than they are letting on but are feeding the drama queens and the trolls so that they divert all their attention to this fight and this event. I'd be stunned if the fight hasn't happened by this time next year. I think it will be signed, sealed and delivered or will have happened by the end of this year.

Seemed a legut rumour going around, then the PBC spokesman article, if it's false then it's all good. I for one want him there and hope, If AJ wins learly and isn't all busted up he can get Wilder in the ring and start negotiations while he's there.
