The kid drew high ratings last night. 398K viewers tuned in for the card that's the 3rd highest ratings for the Golden Boy on ESPN series to date.
05/18/2017 - Diego De La Hoya/Ruiz - 446K
08/04/2017 - Maurico Herrera/Jesus Sota Karass - 415K
03/23/2018 - Ryan Garcia/Fernando Vargas - 398K
Impressive given that he is by far younger had fewer fights and exposure then either of the 2 headliners. Also he they didn't have a big lead in. Look at the ratings directly before the Golden Boy card and directly after on ESPN.

DSG? you look foolish to the OG's on boxingscene, trying to depict me as some poster that drivens by race - last week I was rocking a Richard Commey sig, this week I'm cheering for my boy Kosei Tanaka, next week probably a Latin-American/Latino fighter -- how long you been here?
I usually pass your posts, I thought you had a thing for american fighters. Didnt notice you liked those guys. You just seem mad that Garcia is getting exposure.
Ryan Garcia is trash! here he is getting bossed around by TMT Rolando romero ; Garcias stiff ass is easy to hit, dont bend his knees ; fights squared up -- yeah my boy Gervonta Davis is going to give this fraud dat work.
imo garcia did good in that video, the romero kid looked way bigger also. plus its sparring theres plenty of videos of garcia wrecking people too.
Canelo is american? Since when? You only supported him because of Golovkin. Try again. What lighter american fighters are you supporting?

I never had a problem supporting Canelo before I found out he was a cheat.

What makes you say that

Garcia might be the top prospect in all of boxing. Might be the face of boxing in a few years already has a huge following on social media. Checks all the boxes speed, power, was an elite amateur, and has the size and height to move up multiple weight classes. But he's still a prospect and has to prove it.
Huge fight tonight was given the Headliner on ESPN
Bold statement but yeah I pretty much agree
He seems to have a lot of power and explosiveness but I agree with the poster who said he needs more strength...not with his punches but with standing his ground and not getting pushed around...I haven't seen him get pushed around but he looks susceptible to that just because of how young and undeveloped his body is.
the biggest problem with prospects that are as good as Garcia is it's impossible to tell how good their defense or chin is. Because if you are elite like he is you are steamrolling your opponents with such ease. Other prospects are struggling here and there losing some rounds going deep in fights with the same level of opponents that Garica is totally dominating. He probably hasn't lost a single round as a pro and has KO'd everyone but 1 opponent. The better prospect you are the harder it is know about your heart or toughness until you jump up big in class.
I dunno on the strength thing he's got a punch on him for his age
When a young one can bang like that it's an issue for any fighter

LIES! I have never said about a single puerto rican fighter.
When Marquez layed out Pacquiao you said it was the greatest punch in Puerto Rican history
Right, then ask him to say fuk WBC and fuk VADA.. may be that'll help prosper his career
Or if he ever gets a draw he can compare it to being a 9/11 victim
Maybe that'll help prosper his career
