Well Imam certainly had the power to jar Ramirez, but you reckon he was afraid of really committing? Could be... certainly I'm inclined to respect Paulie's opinion on the matter, and I can see how he would be wary... lotta big punchers become unwilling to pull the trigger after being on the receiving end. Yea Ramirez deff did not attack like normal he was wary of the power.And Imam just don't have the dog in him and was afraid of gassing out so he kept hands in pocket.Not sure he is a lazy puncher like C Stevens think its more a mental thing.

Yeah, ultimately while it was a good performance Ramirez didn't really show me anything to think he's some kind of standout. Dude's tough, relentless and fights at a good pace, but that will only carry you so far. The main point in his favour is that he's still young, and while his skills ain't elite they ain't too shabby either and I think he has the capacity to improve. Right now Prograis stops him - kid just gets hit way too much - in fact we might have seen a different fight if Imam carried a bit more power. Great fight so far, both guys are doing what they have to do. 1-1 They were standing in the pocket at the end of the round and trading, someone is going to get buzzed.

Imam looked real sharp that first round, Ramirez needs to beat the drums of that rib cage, and push him to the ropes. When he's standing there looking at Imam he's fucking up.

John l Ramirez Ko late x1 This fight has a lot of unanswered ?s about both.I really like Imam skills and power and its hard not to pick him.Who is better skilled Imam. Who is got better power Imam and better opps.But the kid broke when he stepped up was he sick?(that's his side)Did he just overlook him?Ramirez has not fought very good opp and he don't have Pfp type skills.He has not even had a chance to prove heart and chin.But he has not broke yet and that's pretty much what it comes down to.Alot of guessing going on with this one.
