Daniyar Yeleussinov, Olympic Champion, World Amateur Champion and two times AIBA boxer of the year is turning pro on the Danny Jacobs undecard, he is the last of the 2016 Olympic medalists at welterweight that are turning pro, joining Mohammed Rabii, Shakram Giyasov and Souleymane Cissokho.
Yeleussinov
Rabii
Giyasov
Cissokho
Rabii fights on March 24th in France.
Yeleussinov turns pro in the next undercard of Danny Jacobs in April 28th.
Giyasov turns pro this saturday in a card of Real Deal Boxing promoted by Evander Holyfield.
Cissokho also fights this saturday in France in the undercard of Brian Castaño.
Eimantas Stanionis another 2016 olympian at welterweight, 4-0 3 KO's so far, is fighting again this saturday as well in the undercard of Garcia vs Lipinets.
And Josh Kelly is fighting again against Carlos Molina in the undercard of Joshua Parker.
It's pretty exciting, not sure about the other 2 but Yeleussinov will probably ready to fight anyone at 147 in 4 or 5 fights. Josh Kelly is on the rise too, the Welterweight division just keeps getting stronger and stronger.
Rabii is IMO the best after Yeleussinov, he beat Yeleussinov and Kelly who is looking great as well, Eimantas Stanionis was also a top amateur welterweight that recently turned pro with Richard Schaefer.
