Lennox Lewis was never even top 5 at any point and I don't think Wlad or Vitali ever made the top 10 or if they did right at the bottom. I've been hearing a lot about how Wilder is a masterfully skilled boxer, has supreme ring IQ, amazing resume and would defeat basically any Heavyweight of the last 30-40 years with ease. I don't think he'd get that same recognition if he was from Europe or Asia. In fact his skill set would be ridiculed the way Loma's or GGG's is and his resume was be ridiculed the way Pacquaio's is.

Heavyweights don’t get to be p4p really because they’re already Heavyweight. p4p is for little guys to say if size were equal they would be the best. But that’s all conjecture because nobody knows what would happen until the fight actually happens A lot of skilled guys have lost to inferior talents. More goes into a fight than who has the best technique. Power, stamina, speed, heart, punch resistance, etc P4P is just to give fans something to talk about

Do you even know what P4P means? That if Wilder was to fight as a WW with his given skill set, he would be 0-40 right now instead of 40-0. A fighter like Wilder could only thrive as a HW, so the P4P discussion goes out the window.

I totally embrace him, I think he is excactly the type of guy HW needs. With goodguy AJ on one side and the loudmouthed and fun Wilder on the other. Dunn, when will it get made? I hope it happens this summer, but with AJ probably fighting Big Baby Miller next, Not looking promising for any earlier than December 2018. If he signs to HBO (which is possible given HBO aired Miller's last fight, doubt they would've unless they knew it would help long term) he would likely fight Miller, whyte and Fury, so that would push it into 2019.
