He looked like the bone of his back hand snapped and is bulging in his skin..... I doubt it's bone...the bones in the hand at that location are very small. Could just be a lipoma (a benign tumor made of fat tissue). When they are just below the skin they leave them alone because they are harmless. But whatever it is it's been there for years...it's not a new injury so it won't be a problem. Nothing to see here folks. But I wonder how this little rumour will effect the betting odds now. It might be a good time to put some money on Ortiz.
