Mikey is one of the best fighters out there but he is a prima donna when it comes to negotiations and opponents.

Mikey should have said "Fine I will fight the winner" But he knows deep down who the winner will be. So now Easter is in his radar instead. But before that he will fake call out the Charlo's, GGG, and everyone else he has not mentioned as of yet beforehand.

What he turned down was GB's BS offer for the fight because he knows he'll make more under a purse bid. Linares doesn't actually want to fight Mikey though, which is why he's trying to take another fight now that the WBC wants to order a purse bid.

He is talked into being a big name, but if you look at his resume, he's beaten all substandard and average opposition since being KO'd by DeMarco, and Thompson. You have people talking up domestic level UK guys, to try and build Linares up, but fact is, he hasn't really fought anyone of real quality. I'd favor both Lomachenko, and Garcia over him. Garcia would probably steam roll him, while Lomachenko would probably box to a feather fisted decision.

Why does Mikey have to be like that? After Lipinets, he should Robert Easter to unify. Loma takes care of Linares and Beltran, then they unify at the end of the year. Forget about 2019. Let's have it this year!!! They can rematch in 2019 for Mikey's 140 title.

i tend to believe whatever lomo says.. to me he is extremely confident in his abilities and actually wants to prove he is the best there is. i have a hard time believing mikey when he has fought all nobodies through his entire career. lomo fought for a world title in his 2nd pro bout. we wanted to see him vs gary russell, so he fought and whooped russells ass.. then everyone wanted to see him fight rigo and he went and made rigo quit. everyone wants to see him fight garcia and we are supposed to believe mikey over lomo??? awww hellll nah!!! mikey needs to step the fuh up and start fighting the big names. broner is his biggest win for crying out loud!! as a matter of fact, im going on his ig right now to put him on blast!!
