I can't stand Keith Thurman. The guy fights 1 or 2 times a year and he is absolutely terrified of Spence. Who doesn't remember when he wanted to fight Mayweather, but chose not to, as he would have to fight Spence first in order to do so? Thurman refused his chance at the biggest possible payday, simply because he would have to get near Spence... His excuses were laughable. Mayweather gave him a simple offer. Beat Spence, get the big money fight.
Boxers are simply not fighting for fame and glory anymore, it's all about your bank account and your health. Don't fight anyone too dangerous, lol...
I agree that Thurman doesn't want to fight Spence. Very few welterweights want to fight Spence. MAyweather's offer was not impressive. If Thurman had fought and defeated Spence I doubt Mayweather would have fought Thurman.
Almost as bad as Mikey Garcia, huh? Some nerve on you bro. lmao
At least Thurman beat guys like Danny Garcia and Shawn Porter. Mikey ducked tiny Gamboa and is now running away from another small fighter in Lomachenko. Mikey has a resume of B leve guys and has never and will never step in the ring against a guy who has a 50/50 chance to beat him.
lmao yea when I read his comment he had some nerve to say keith "does a lot of talk but doesn't back it up". I was like hmmmm that sounds very familiar about someone who's nutts get juggled in someone's throat very often lol
Fighters aren't 'scared' of eachother at the top level, any serious boxing fan knows what a fighter's mindset is.
He hasn't been inactive by choice, he's been injury prone since his amateur days.
Thurman's resume speaks for itself, Porter and Garcia back to back signature wins, along with other solid wins like Collazo, Guerrero, Chaves, Quintana etc. Now he's fighting another solid top 10, 2 division champion coming off surgery and a year layoff.
Unified welterweight champion of the world.
I would like him to fight more often, but before the porter fight he was in a car accident.
After the Garcia fight he had a surgery and got married.
It's not like he is on long breaks and comes back against salka or someone like that.
He just fought porter and Garcia back to back. Two top5 welterweights.
But i do think he doesn't want to fight Spence.
Meh, I'm not a special fan but One Time's OK in my book. Kid worked his way through the circuit and was never gifted anything. What is impressive is just how sh1t some of the posters on this site are.
you jsut a hater mad cause I speak facts about thurman lol you talking and you telling lies and trying to pass off opinions as facts just like a hoe talking about the future of what you think mikey wont do lmfao "mikey will never fight someone who has a 50/50 chance, I can tell the future and ima bitch too" lmfao idiots.
Triggered?
Don't get your panties in a bunch just because I pointed out your hypocrisy. You're bashing Thurman for doing what Mikey is doing (who's by far worse) is just laughable and some straight up cuck stuff, man.
I was never really a fan, all I seen was a dude who talks more than he backs it up. Calls himself Onetime but is quick to become Runtime whenever he has a live dog in front of him. I believe he knows his time is limited at the top and I noticed another pattern with him he goes into hiding when everybody doesnt have a fight but soon as his opp has fights signed he comes out of hiding, CHECK THE TIME LINES! #FACTS

He's sidelined with an injury numbnuts and he was never going to get the Floyd fight even if he fought/beat Spence. That was Floyd talking nonsense as usual against guys he dislikes.

To be fair, he did have to go through surgery in his elbow, and he also got married. Not only that, but it's not like he fought bums back-to-back. He beat Danny Garcia, then Shawn Porter. I do think he's scared of Spence, but wasn't he Mayweather's mandatory? How did Mayweather get away with straight out refusing to fight Thurman?
I dislike Thurman for that reason but more importantly, his style of boxing turns me off.
To be perfectly honest though, if im a fighting pro with big time backing, money and health would come first. Fuk satisfying the fans and fighting often. Health comes first.
As much as people want to deny it, majority of them would be the same.
