How would Spence do against the champions at 154 right now?

I would pick Spence over Ali and Hurd. Lara, not sure, I'd lean toward Spence but Lara's ability to box could be trouble. I would pick Charlo over Spence right now.

He will be a Welterweight until he unifies the division. He already said himself be can do it next year or the year after if need be. He beats them all. Spence is a SPECIAL fighter. Only another SPECIAL fighter will beat him. Charlo has the best shot but they won't fight so that ain't happening.

Spence is so overrated, don't even think he beats Thurman and Crawford honestly. Guy relies on his size and workrate, little else is there. If Peterson is only his A game, he'll drop the massive hype on this guy even on a losing effort. He only beats Ali from that list and even that would be a tough fight. He'd look pedestrian against Lara and Hurd/Charlo probably stop him.

He tko Ali brutally With Hurd i think Spence can win a ud since he has the better technical boxer here but Hurd is bigger and very strong so it will be a brutal war Charlo wins ud he has the skill plus size to beat Spence Lara idk Lara on his best night outboxes the **** out of Spence but he is older now and might not be the same Lara anymore well see once he fights Hurd.

spence loses to all of them. I'm not sold on spence even being able to beat the champs at 147. I need to see more. Honesty lol. Guy can barely move his head and gets by on bullying and moving his opponents around. He's a 147 who walks around in the 170s. He won't be able to do that against the boys at 154, esp. Charlo who's a big mf or Hurd who is crazy tough and won't stop coming forward on you. Lara would jab and slide around Spence all night. He likely could beat Ali as he isn't a true 154, but don't get it twisted - Ali can fight.

:lol1::lol1: are you kidding? It would be Rungvisai-Gonzalez II all over again with that fight. Spence is usto sparring the Charlos, Hurd is easy to hit in the body and that’s what Spence does he goes hard to the body.

I dont want to even speculate that right now until he beats a killer at 147. I guess he could beat Ali at 154 but nothing is certain.

Charlo is too quick and skilled. And has new found KO power. Hurd is very durable and won't stop coming. Lara is too skilled. He can beat Ali and get a title. Also, Trout and the other second tier fighters.

I think he would beat all of them. Seven pounds isn't that much of a jump for a big welterweight. I think Hurd would be his hardest fight at 154 because he is so rugged and never stops coming forward throwing bombs. I think Lara is past prime now.

I doubt he could hurt Hurd. Hurd would be the easiest to take apart

Lara outboxes him in a snoozer of a fight. Ali, he beats flatout. Hurd is a Tank while is better technically then Hurd, Hurd is too big and eat punches well. I favor Hurd. Charlo out works him in a good scrap... Charlo is a bigger spence.

i think the only one he beats for sure is ali, who isn't a SWW. lara, hurd and charlo are tough fights

I think he beats all of them, but Lara and Charlo would be the biggest challenges and could see either edging him. Hurd and Ali are average and very flawed so I don't see them posing to much problems. I just hope he at least gets a chance to fight Thurman or Crawford before he inevitably moves up
