Why do you want to see Tank Davis vs Lomachenko right now?

I’d like to see the fight as he is considered a top fighter at his weight. It’s a higher profile fight, but I definitely understand Davis’ team not wanting it. He’s a bit green, and it’s pretty much a guaranteed L. I have no problem with them not rushing into this. Also, I’d rather see Loma fight more accomplished fighters.

Lomachenko is more experienced both as an amateur and as a pro. Lomachenko has 5 opponents who range from decent to good: Rigondeaux, Walters, Russell Jr, Martinez, and Sosa. Tank has 1 opponent who was considered good in Pedraza. Now, whatever the case may be, what ever your reasons actually are, whether it's because Tank is under Mayweather and you hate Mayweather so you want to see those fighters associated with Mayweather lose or because you genuinely believe that Tank vs Loma would be a good competitive fight and you're not just being obnoxious about it when asking, in a way that indicates that you just feel like Tank is too inexperienced to beat Loma so you want the fight for a relatively easy win. So what is your reason? My reason for NOT wanting the fight right now is because I need to see Tank vs more B level fighters before stepping in the ring vs an elite/A+ fighter. Same as you, man. Tank needs to get some more experience under his belt and show he really belongs in there. This'll be a better fight in a year or two and probably at 135. Right now Lomachenko boxes circles around Tank - for the record I think he does in 2 years also, but nonetheless it'll be a better fight if Davies gets another coupla good wins under his belt. EDIT: That said, it still is a legitimate fight to make - claiming that the only reasons someone could want this fight are either to protect Lomachenko or to hate on Floyd is indicative of the kind of mindset that is all too prevalent in the NSB bubble.

He's the second or third best fighter in the division. Why wouldn't you want to see it?

Because posters are saying that Tank would smoke white boy Loma and I don't think that is going to happen. Make the fight, enough excuses and may the best man win. No one is saying that. People just want to see a Mayweather fighter lose. It's extra credit if it's Lomachenko.

Lomachencko bunboys don't want any parts of a live dog against their hype job. Berchelt, Mikey Garcia, Linares, Crawford, etc... strikes fear in them. I guess another sonning will crush his fanbase. I mean it has to be hard hyping up a guy that lost to old, shop worn, face first brawler Salido. When will Lomachencko fight a live dog that's not some small guy moving up, inactive for a long time, or a massive underdog?Can't someone just be a fan of Loma without being a bunboy? You are an extreme Loma hater for no apparent reason. That's far worse than being a fan of a highly skilled boxer. Hang on to that Salido loss if it makes you feel better. It might be the last time Loma losses a fight for many years to come.Do you actually expect 130 pound Loma to fight Crawford who now fights at 147? That is unrealistic and unfair. Why not, Davis is fair game, in the same division, fluid was criticising Loma so I'd say it's a case of put your fighter where your mouth is, Loma has already achieved more than any fighter after 11 fights, 2 divisions, 2 world titles, he needs to spend a little bit of time in each division while going up to make sure he cleans the division, otherwise all the insecure fluid fans will say he ducked this one and that one on his way up

I don't want to see that fight now. I am a big fan of both of them. Tank is too green now. Let him get a couple of years experience and win a title at 135 first. If Loma fights him now he will get accused of picking on a baby by his growing number of haters.

Most likely because Tank is associated with Mayweather so they want to see him get lit up by Loma They are probably the 2 biggest names in that weak division but It makes no sense for Mayweather to make that fight now when Tank still has a lot to learn in and out of the ring. While Mayweather still has hopes for him to be a crossover fighter Why let Loma most likely feast on him and help Arum & Loma out in their career while stifling Tanks. It's the same reason Arum shows little interest in Lomas biggest Challenge right now Mikey Garcia, Both experienced in their prime and P4P fighters a fight that could go either way . Arum isn't going let Mikey a fighter he sent to purgatory for 2 1/2 years be the one to kill the Loma hype especially since he doesn't have controll of Mikeys career.

people are assuming that Davis will go far and that is not completely unreasonable assumption.He does seem to have the talent .The problem is that he already missed weight once which is a sign of poor discipline. He might be the next Broner who starts losing his **** much faster. Feed him to Loma now while he is still hot.

Id like to see Tank get one more legit top 10 guy 1st.But after that that's go!Do I think he will win no but after you got a title time for babied is over.And its nothing to do with Mayweathwer its just that id like to see Loma fight at his best weight and Tank is one if not the 2nd best(after 1 more top 10 win)in div.And Loma don't have that style to wreck a career so if Tank losses(which he would)its not end of world.And he is prob the fastest hard puncher Loma has faced so that would be nice to see how Loma deals with that.Tank is the most athletic guy in div after Loma so yea why not.Best vs best even when there is a clear fav one loss to other top fighter is NO SHAME and should not be PENALIZED.

My personal stance on these things is to let the rising star grow a little so that showdown is better when it actually happens. The exception is when someone is holding a belt hostage.

People cant blame Floyd the promoter for not letting Davis fight loma right now. It is obvious that Davis isnt ready yet so what kinda dumbazz promoter would allow that? I dont ever see Davis beating Loma.
