Isaac Chamberlain, who sparred both Wilder & Joshua:
"Deontay is only wild when he has you hurt...he's actually a very good boxer...he's a lot faster than what people think...it's whoever lands first to be honest...Joshua, when he punches, it's like a sledgehammer, but Wilder, it's like a sniper rifle"
Wilder's best opponent has been Charlie Z and he couldn't keep him down and should have been DQ'd for hitting him while down. Wilder is trash. It's so desperate certain people are looking to him as the savior.
But Wilder has actually knocked opponents out totally UNCONSCIOUS. Like Artur Szpilka for example. Does he ring a bell? Or how about Siarrhei Liakovich? Does he ring a bell to you either? Not only that, but Wilder has been able to accomplish the feat of knocking opponents out unconscious with single punches too.
Anthony Joshua is pathetically weak, powerless, girlish, wimpy, sissy and feather fisted as a puncher compared to Deontay Wilder. Despite his fake looking muscles that are good for nothing in reality. Anthony Joshua needs premature British stoppages to maintain his fake and misleading 100% knock out record because he lacks legitimate and real punching power. On the other hand, Deontay Wilder is able to consistently separate his opponents from their consciousness at a consistent basis and doesn't require BS premaure stoppages.
You literally said the guy with the highest KO% in boxing history can't crack an egg. IDC how many "British stoppages" you think he's received, that statement is simply asinine.
It doesn't matter whether you care or not. Having a 100% knock out record "ON PAPER" alone is very misleading when majority of those so called 'knock outs' aren't even genuine knock outs but instead, premature stoppages where the referee stops the fight whilst Joshua's opponent is still conscious and able to continue.
I don't know who you are, or where the fvck you come from but the sh1t I've read from you today is, without doubt, the worst I've ever read on here. That includes the clowns who were posting about the Floyd vs McGregor circus. You cannot be genuine.
Anthony Joshua doesn't punch with much power. This much is very genuine. The guy requires premature stoppages in nearly every one of his bouts. These are all facts available for everyone to verify.
Carlos Takam was walking right through Joshua's hardest punches like they were being thrown by a sissy little 10 year old girl. The same Takam who was knocked out cold, for the 10 count by a 6 foot 2, 220 pound natural cruiser weight midget in Alexander Povetkin who himself is a pretty weak puncher.
I'm sorry, but Joshua's power is almost non-existent when it comes to scoring legitimate knock outs and I don't mean premature 'typical British / UK stoppages'. Joshua's fists and punches are far too light and weak compared to Wilder.
Wilder could probably walk right through some of Joshua's punches like Takam did and some of Joshua's other opponents did without getting immediately knocked out. However, once Wilder manages to connect with a single clean right hand, Joshua goes down and doesn't get back up for a few minutes.
This is a mismatch in favor of Wilder. Joshua has nothing to bother Wilder with. Joshua lacks punching power and his boxing skills aren't really better than Wilder's. Wilder has a better jab and makes Joshua look like he is moving in slow motion due to the embarrassing speed gap between the two athletes. That's how much faster Wilder is in comparison to Joshua.

They are both very hard punchers. Their best punches have lots of speed and lots of bodyweight turned into the punch. I think they punch with about the same power and have equally average chins. If they fight somebody will almost certainly get KOed but I am not sure which one it will be. AJ has shorter more correct accurate punches but Wilder is faster with better stamina and throws many more punches per round. They both have smashing left jabs.
Exactly! Joshua doesn't possess much power. His power is pretty overrated and pretty much non-existent when it comes to flat out dropping and keeping his opponents down for the 10 count. Joshua lacks the physical strength to achieve what Wilder is capable of achieving. Joshua's body is a little too fragile and weak compared to Wilder's.
Don't play yourself.
Not to jumble the metaphor too much, but, in terms of sheer punching, it'd be akin to Wilder sporting a 100mph fastball while Joshua sports a 95mph fastball; both will do you in, but there's a better chance of catching up to 95.
Wilder pairs his 100mph with a good breaking pitch, while Joshua pairs his 95mph with a couple good breaking pitches, and a nasty split.

WTF? A sledgehammer will take you out whatever it hits.
It would render a sniper rifle useless with one hit. Sniper rifle bullet would bounce straight off a sledgehammer.
Really.
One is a stick with metal and the other is a gun.
Wilder has awful technique and is sloppy as hell. At least Joshua picks his spots and does so with some skill. He's limited too, but he's Holyfield next to Wilder in the technique department. Of course it's modern heavyweights so one lucky shot (I hate to use that term in boxing but it applied given Wilder's laughable technique and style) could change things but conventional wisdom says the talented, more skilled guy lands first and then at will. Washington was boxing Wilder's ears off and he made Molina look good. These are D level guys. Joshua is around B+ level.
If Joshua opens up in the first round he may win in round 1 or round 2.
There isn't really any competition here. Wilder not only punches with more power, but with significantly greater power. This is not even a contest! Compared to Deontay Wilder, Anthony Joshua is practically a feather fist who could barely even crack an egg.
Even you know the sniper is going to hide from the sledgehammer. :loser:
...Only for as long as it takes to get him to make the wrong (right) mistake that will allow him to make the proper kill shot, ala what Wilder will do to Joshua. :bukkake:
With a sniper rifle you have to wait for the person to appear from behind the wall. With a sledgehammer you go through the wall.
Snipers can lay in wait from several yards away undetected and wait patently for their targets without threat of danger, though. The guy with the sledgehammer? Not so much.
A sniper takes out any madman welding a sledgehammer. It's about precision and timing beating straight slugging, son.

Sledgehammer breaks sniper rifle. Joshua by KO.
Anthony Joshua can barely even crack an egg. Most of his stoppages are BS 'typical UK / British stoppages' where the bouts are stopped whilst his opponents are still standing most of the time, or are able to get up fine within the 10 count when knocked down.
On the other hand, Deontay Wilder actually knocks his opponents out unconscious most of the time. Or he separates them from their senses enough to keep them down on the ground for long enough for the 10 count.
Sledgehammer breaks sniper rifle. Joshua by KO.
