Nobody is doing business right now announcing fights. They will wait for things to settle down in the new year for maximum exposure and people's attention. That's how marketing works. Unless fighters are already fighting in January/February/possibly march, pretty much nobody has a fight signed or being announced for these reasons. This^^^^^^^^^

You'd think that if the rematch were to happen in May, like De La Hoya said, it would've been official by now. Somehow, Canelo got the #1 spot under the WBO, so now he's Saunders's mandatory. However, I doubt Canelo would wanna fight Saunders, after the boxing lesson the latter gave Lemieux. Last I heard about De La Hoya, he wants to fight Mayweather or something.
