Remmeber arum was so anti-rigo he said he thought donaire rigo was a close fight lol and he was promoting both at the time

Rigo had donaire running away hurt the last round
Arum and Dan Rafael at ESPN showed him no respect and trashed him daily. He should tell both of them to go F-ck themselves.

That was an interesting and inspiring moment. So many people predicted a KO of “china-chinned” Rigo. Yet, in the end, the hunter became the hunted. It was almost surreal to watch “El Chacal” stalk Nonito around the ring in the final assault. No one knows what’ll happen this coming Saturday, but I don’t put anything past Rigondeaux after that night.

I don't believe Rigo ballooned up to 140,he was 129 couple weeks ago and said he would weigh in around 126,i don't believe one bit he would have gone up to 140,he's not stupid and neither is pedro diaz, and there's no reason for him going up that much either just to loose it again on a short notice, they know what their doing there.3 weeks ago on camp life theboxing voice he was in full training camp and ripped, no way in hell he has weighed 140
I don’t believe that weight thing for a nanosecond, either. Normally, Rigo walks around at 124-126. Who the hell does that? Only someone who’s naturally that size, that’s who. Everyone else has to drain. Guillermo is one of those guys who has a very difficult time putting on weight. He has the genetics of an elite athlete. Nothing but fast-twitch, lean muscle. The man is a specimen. And even if he could put on excessive weight, no way Rigo does with a scientist like Pedro Diaz training him. It’s all bullshit.
Wanted to go to the fight but this is getting concerning. lol.
Loma vs Rigo tickets are about $250 right now for cheapest ticket on Stubhub.... too much to gamble on to see if this fight actually happens.

Why would Rigo give a fk about doing an interview 5 days before the bout when they havent bothered doing any promotion whatsoever through the entire build up
The guy has been ignored by promoters, fans and dodged shamelessly by his supposed competition. If its not weight issues I can understand why he doesnt give a sh*t about some dumbass interview 5 DAYS before the fight.
I hate being on my phone on here. Autocorrect ****s me all the way up, especially when I'm on any website. My bad. My point was Loma has a multitude of factors in his favor, and even with that being tru Rigo still dared to be great and should be commended for it. Hell Loma should be commended for taking a bout he will almost assuredly not get credit for (if you know boxing like I do... And you do... You know he won't get credit if he wins),
Well maybe I read what you were saying wrong but it looked like some good Ole fashioned Rigo bashing in this thread lol
Huh, I'm not sure how you got that but I'm guessing it was a misunderstanding. No worries. It's probably because you were reading my hostile response to that other guy. He's such a fanboy that even in times when I've defended Rigo, that wasn't enough for him and he corrected me as to just how perfect and unbeatable Rigo is. I finally got sick of it and just decided to thrash him.
I'd love to see Rigo win on Sat. Would be poetic after all the career fumbles he's had, to reach the end (or thereabouts) of his career and beat the guy they call 'the matrix'.
I don't see it happening based on several factors but that doesn't make me against Rigo. I am extremely happy that he continued to pursue this fight until it was made. And, major respect to him for even letting Loma have the weight advantage, just to get the fight made. That alone makes me want to see Rigo win.
Not sure exactly what you're saying (2nd sentence is incomplete) but the part you quoted is me responding to a fanboy who freaked out at me for saying I wouldn't approve of Rigo ditching a promotional event. If that's what Rigo did, just because he didn't feel liner it, I think it's a stupid move. I'm doubting that's what happened, which is why I bought up the fact that I'm concerned he's have a health issue this week.
If you think I don't respect Rigo something like that, please explain. I do think Loma is going to win this weekend, but that has nothing to do with who I respect or what I want to happen.

People have to remember that Rigo has been close to 122 lbs or below since he started boxing even though his body weight should be higher.
As you've mentioned, once the body acclimatize's with added muscle and bulk to it, its very hard to get off no matter what you do especially at 36 years old.
His team made the mistake of over bulking Rigo to 140 lbs and then removing it rather then just moving up slowly from 122 lbs.
If that's the case then he'll have to do some work then. It is harder to cut weight at a later age
I don't remember ever disagreeing with you so vehemently but this is it? So doesn't respect Rigo? He has the weight, the age, THE NETWORK and even the sanctioning bodies against him, yet he still eats to be great. That deserves nothing but respect and admiration among us all.

You're panicking because you know Rigo is about to lose (we all saw your "does size matter?" threads). I've been friendly to you in the past because I feel bad that no one respects Rigo anymore but do us all a solid, when Rigo loses this weekend, will you just go away?
You've proven that you'd suck the guy off if given the opportunity so don't bother people who are trying to have a reasonable discussion.
