He used Tony Bellew to protect AJ from David Haye. He's trying to use Dillian Whyte to protect him from Deontay Wilder. And he's now trying to talk up Bellew fighting Tyson Fury. I'm getting sick and tired of hearing about Eddie Hearn thinking he runs the Heavyweight division.
Whyte sold the fight with Joshua before Joshua was famous. Dillian Whyte made him famous. Whyte was to Joshua what Oscar de la Hoya was to Floyd and Pacquiao.
😂😂😂 nice troll attempt
So did Takam, Brezeale, Martin and Molina. Are they all massive draw’s as well????
GTFOH retard😂😂😂😂

Dillian Whyte sold 450.000 PPVs when he fought Joshua.
He is a massive draw.

😂😂😂😂😂😂 hahaha get real Whyte has NEVER even topped a bill as an A-Side. Bellew and Whyte are nobody’s

To be honest if you can't get through either Whyte or Bellew, you don't deserve the Joshua payday.
Pretty much this ^^^^^^. He might use them to prolong when the fight would take place but he cannot use them to avoid a fighter entirely.
They're bigger draws than Wilder.
Whyte sold more PPVs than Wilder so far.
If Tony Bellew and Wilder fought.... Tony Bellew would be the A-side!

I hate the UFC more than prob anybody on board just because they are getting all the younger fans. But they match their guys harder BECAUSE they win either way.And some one will allways emerge into a star.If boxing was ALL run by one guy(hopefully me)it would be better off and we fans would see best fight best more often. But that's a pipe dream.
LOL that's th advantage of ufc, the company always wins and they end up with a star on their hands regardless.
Thing is, TR and King did something similar for decades and regardless of how fighters fared there were stars created and boxing got the match ups it needed.
Haymon has no clue what to do.
Lol at thinking Hearn is using Whyte and Bellew to protect Joshua.
Bellew fought Haye in the spring of 2017, that's when Joshua fought Wlad. I'm guessing Hearn was using Wlad a guy who had beaten Haye convincingly as a way of protecting Joshua from Haye, what lunatic would think such a think?
As for Whyte, that fight was offered to Wilder as a separate fight from Joshua at a time when Joshua had a mandatory due for his next 2 fights. Should he have dumped the IBF and WBA belts? Also Finkel then specifically asked for Joshua to be guaranteed as an opponent for Wilder if they fought Whyte, which Hearn has now agreed to. Yet we don't here Finkel saying hooray we've secured the Joshua fight by agreeing to fight Whyte like they asked for, no they flip flopped again and now say they only want Joshua next, despite specifically asking for the Whyte fight to secure Joshua.
Hearn has clearly stated Wilder doesn't need to fight Whyte to get Joshua, but Finkel asked for it and has now changed his mind again when Hearn acquiesced to his demand.
I’m assuming that is sarcasm

More nonsense from you. You do know that it was Fury who called Bellew out don't you? And that Hearn had nothing to do with it?
Idiot.
Why should they have to fight Whyte or Bellew though?????
I hate this stupid argument that “it will help sell the fight if they win impressively”. Beating literally anyone in impressive fashion will help sell a fight, the truth of the matter is, a fight of the magnitude of AJ-Wilder or Fury-AJ doesn’t need any selling they are MEGA fights. The ONLY reason Hearn wants to make those fights is to line his own pockets.
Whyte and Bellew are MASSIVE draws in the UK

Its any interesting perspective to be fair.
But you could say that with the humble one in the Matchroom stable, Hearns does control alot of what fights are made in the division.
If they are then they should have no problems beating Bellew or Whyte.
Let's face it, Hearn does have a point here. A fight with either Bellew or Whyte would build up a fight with Joshua in the UK.
If Wilder is good enough to take on Joshua he should run through Whyte easily and if the Super-HW Fury can't beat Bellew he should retire in shame.
Whyte is a gatekeeper who can promote fights with trash talk. He should have been a good fight for any elite HW wanting Joshua. Easy money and more build up and money for the Joshua payday.
I don't think Hearn is trying too hard to protect Joshua at all. He did match him with Klitschko after only 19 fights. The fight with Martin was a relative risk too since many people thought it was too early for Joshua to become the champ and some people actually thought that Martin might be legit.
Why should they have to fight Whyte or Bellew though?????

It’s all about MONEY. Hearn is money grabbing scumbag just like his nonsensical father was. He wants to earn for himself before risking his companies cash cow. He has percentage deals with Bellew/Whyte, as opposed to whatever fee he gets off AJ, so would earn a lot more personally if they could get a major fight that would sell on PPV. That’s exactly why Haye had to fight Bellew first before getting the AJ payday.
The fact that brainwashed idiots actually support Hearn is pathetic! He’s full of sh*t. His interview on the boxing voice where he was exposed as a LIAR proves that.
AJ and Wilder BOTH want this fight but Hearn’s greed is preventing it from happening
Not really because many guys just don't have it in them to be a draw even if they're winning.
It's very obvious that they prefer certain fighters and want them to win more.
Brock Lesnar, Conor McGregor, Sage Northcutt, Paige Van Zandt, Ronda Rousey. These fighters were protected since day one because they either had the looks or could talk.
They matched Conor McGregor with stylistically favorable opponents on his way to the title and matched his stylistic threats against each other. Then they gave him a title shot in the next division immediately.
While on the other hand if there's someone who they don't think could ever become a draw they'll keep matching him up with killers and even if you go like 8-0 they still don't give you a title shot.
If you can talk or look good you'll get preferential treatment. If you don't speak English or can't play some WWE role, good luck ever getting a title shot unless you're some killer who can go like 15-0 against all the contenders.
Max Holloway had to go on a 10-0 streak to get the title shot, Yoel Romero was 8-0 in the UFC and didn't get it, Tony is on a 10-0 streak and still didn't get the title shot etc. Brock Lesnar got a title shot after being 1-1 in the UFC. Some fighters got title shots coming of a loss.
They deff have favs and not anywhere near an expert on MMA but they do match their fighter generaly tougher. And your right not everyone has in in them to be a star buy when you have both guys sooner or later somone will catch on with masses. They are starting to break their own rules more and more but still no one who beat one of their top 5 fighters PFP and not get another halfazzed big fight for five years(Rigo)

This is one of the reasons why I give no legitimacy to the UFC. Their entire company is run like that, they own every fighter. When they want to build somebody up they can easily protect him all the way like they did with Conor.

Yes indeed. I was gonna make a troll thread titled "News Just In: Anthony Joshua has to beat Jarrell Miller if he wants the Deontay Wilder fight." But then I remembered, Miller is a Hearn fighter now. It's actually scary how Hearn is trying to get control and options on every major Heavyweight. A modern day Don King.
Yea its almost flattering to think the heavys mean this much again. It always helps boxing to have a good heavy div.Thats why I pray nither Joshua or Wilder lose and they fight each other ASAP.It really could be HUGE for boxing. But Hearn is in no hurry. He should just make it 2 fight deal good chance his man could win one then we get trilogy.Im getting way ahead of myself.lol
