Do you know for a fact that wilder got more than 1.5 mil for stirevene 2?
We know for a fact that 99% of the time, the A-side in a big fight like that gets more than what's listed on the contract filed with the commission. So it's highly unlikely Wilder only made $1.4 million for that fight.
First of all, you don't know what Wilder actually makes because as an A-side, the purse filed with the commission is almost always going to be lower than reality to save on local taxes as well as saving on sanctioning fees (which are determined by the number on the contract).
Second, we do know that at a minimum, Wilder's biggest pay day was the $5 million he got from the canceled Povetkin fight.
Third, we know Hearn paid at least $5 million to get Martin to come over and Wilder is a much bigger star than Martin. So anything less than what Martin got is going to be rejected quickly.
Even if Whyte would be a career high payday (if we don't count Povetkin), it doesn't mean the offer is a fair split of the revenue. There's no reason to jump at the first offer when you know the promoter can afford to pay you more than that.

that's just not logical.
we're in agreement that the money is good. 4 million is a lot of money. what we're not in agreement about is that wilder is avoiding the guy, when he's tried to fight much better fighters. he's trying to fight joshua, a much better fighter. signed contracts with two other much better fighters, but they failed drug tests.
I personally think he's ducking whyte. He wants to get ktfo by aj and knows he can return to a whyte fight
Don't play dumb, im 100% sure you can read ..it clearly says Wilder Fights Purse Money against those opponents.
So whos the aside Wilder or Joshua?
It seems the problem is that you can't read. Nobody was talking about Joshua. We said Wilder was the A-side against Stiverne.
OF COURSE he'd be the B-side against AJ.
Congratulations @DillianWhyte - No.1 in the @WBCBoxing rankings pic.twitter.com/F2sKAAJl7C— Eddie Hearn (@EddieHearn) November 9, 2017 Even though he is the #1 ranked title contender for Wilder's WBC heavyweight title; However, it still doesn't make him Deontay Wilder's mandatory challenger, because Dominic Breazeale is by way of his victory over Eric Molina. The WBC's President Mauricio Sulaiman has already stated as such.
It says hes not at world level yet but going 7 with Joshua is more than Wilder has done thus far isnt it ?
No, we're sorry, but losing a British title fight is not more impressive than winning the heavyweight championship of the world and defending it six times.
Wilders second best win is Washington whos unproven
Let's even say you're right. That would mean Duhaupas is Wilder's third best win and Duhaupas knocked out Whyte's best win before Whyte beat him.
I could have sworn I saw everyone quoting 1.4m vs stiverne on the weekend.
He did not make 5million :lol1:
jeez i just checked, that chart is wrong ..he really did 1.4mil for the stiverne rematch
man im done

The worst rankings in all the sport. Pedvetkin about to be #1. by the WBO after Hammer despite his repeated VADA violation ( a drug addict) ; the IBF has Dillian Shyte ahead of 'Big-Baby' Miller for doing what exactly? and Ustinov is now #1. for the WBA because King-Dung was suspended.
Now lets see if the WBC pardons King-Dung and make him fight Dillian Shyte in a final eliminator.
All the alha bit ratings is s hite.and their is diff between being #1 and being mandatory. I hope they make Whyte fight Breazeale for mand. But they make this s hite up as they go along.
im more shocked to find out charles martin fought twice this year lol wtf
That is Prince Charles Martin to me and you. Please show respect to our Royalty.
You can't be serious with that BS you just typed man
How's a fighter that has absolutely 0 PPV revenue the A-side
Joshua vs Klitchsko alone beats the entire chart i posted, come on man.
I literally can't do this right now. It's a simple concept...keep rereading what I posted until you figure it out.
Talking Wilders past fights, He's the A-Side. Hence the money he makes is normally shown lower than he makes. Its a simple concept.

dont understand the question. are you claiming stiverne was the a side last week?

The Bum Squad fans would rather Wilder fight bums for coupons for all-you-can-eat Alabama catfish than fight Whyte for millions,. They are SHOOKETH!
Whyte is horrible bro. I'd be more than happy to see him be put to sleep early next year. Would make my day
So now Wilder doesn't choose who he fights?:GTFOH
You call me a fanboy when you come up with excuses like that?
neither you or i can say that for certain, but it's not typical for fighters to choose who they fight. it's usually in contracts they have with managers that they canntot. only guys at the very top can do that. even pacquiao was given a list of guys, wasn't given cart blanche rule over who he chose to fight. only guy in recent memory who did was floyd mayweather, because he signed a one fight deal with gbp or promoted himself, and because he was haymons biggest fighter and threw him a bone so many times fighting haymon fighters and they had such a productive relationship.
just explain to me why you think wilder's afraid. let's assume you are right and he decides everything regarding his career why won't wilder fight white, when he signed contracts to fight povetkin, ortiz, and wants a joshua fight.
why do you think he's afraid of white in spite of the reality of his recent choices of much better opponents?
