Could Wilder KO Takam?

takam prob beats wilder. wilder is so overrated. takam beats everyone on wilders resume easily. difference would be that he would prob be ranked 9th or so for doign it where wlder got the extra "im on american tv" bounce

I think he could KO Takam with no problem. AJ seemed reluctant to throw many punches when he fought Takam. I don't know if AJ was pacing himself but he few very few punches per round. Wilder would throw plenty of leather at Takam and knock him out with no help from the referee. Takam looked slow. Wilder is much faster.

Yes I'm sure he could. I'm also sure AJ could do a lot better with a full training camp for that style. And of course.. no headbutt to break his nose in the first round.

Now I remember watching Wilder VS Szpilka. Wilder struggled in that fight with the subtleties of the body, head and defence of Szpilka. He got the brutal KO in the end, but looked far from great in many rounds. Takam has some sweet science about him and is tough as we know. Joshua & wilder are so powerful they can both KO the universe & destroy worlds..

I think it would a similar frustrating match as AJ had. If Takam had more power/accuracy in his punches he would have a belt.

Could he? ..... absolutely Would he? Not so sure. Takam is not easy to hit and Wilder tends to swing wide or telegraph his biggest and most devastating punches. He'd have a torrid time trying the moneyshot like he did with Spzilka.

Yes, Takam hasn't had a decent win since 2014 and was destroyed by Povetkin I think from memory Povetkin may have even behind on a couple of cards when he KO’ed Takam late. Not sure if that qualifies as ‘destroying’ someone.

I really dont think so, that guy is just one of those hard headed african boxers. Sure they aren't going to win but you wouldn't put them away easily neither.
