I'm not agreeing with the OP, and one would assume that Fury wouldn't be an out of shape, alcoholic, cocaine user when he returns to ring.
However facts are facts, Fury is still the lineal HW champion and that's why people still talk about him.

That was over 2 years ago. It’s time to live life through the windshield and not through the rear view mirror. Who cares if he was something once upon a time.
fury vs aj for the wba ibf the ring titles
parkers vs wilder for the wbo and wbc belts
winner will meet in the end of 2018
do.you agree ?
Everyone wants the AJ fight, and obviously too, Fury wants it, JP wants it as DW does, wouldn't boxing be great if it worked how you wished but it's evident what's at play here, it's a boring dull conversation.
We'd all love to see box offs like the WBSS in the heavy weights, ain't gonna happen though.

How long his he really allowed to sit on that title, TBRB don't recognise him officially they're the body I follow when utilising the rankings system, im not saying they're correct I'm not saying they're wrong and ultimately I'd like to see lineage established/reestablished whatever, we need a recognised champ in the division having a clear no.1 in AJ does nothing for us, especially after the way he's looked in his last two fights and the convincing way in which Furry beat WK it really detracts from the current premier heavyweight.
He's the lineal champion.
Some of these guys have a point, until Furry is active beat a top 15 ranked guy and in shape do we really need to be discussing him. I know he's important in terms of lineage, I somewhat agree he's still lineal, part of me feels he shouldn't be able to sit on the title forever and I most certainly feel he isn't a victim and has been the architect of his own demise and I'm not referring to alienating poewerful Jew's I don't believe in interdimensional conspiracies and shape shifting reptoids, never have done, I do however believe Furry needs to accept he's been tested positive, accept his ban, serve his ban hell guys like Ortiz and Povetkin are serving six months, accept it move forward I know he leaves himself opened to libel for breach of contract by Klitschko but he chose to dope. Are we really contesting he tested dirty ?

Tyson fury is not physically or mentally ready to fight any of the type guys. He would need to be on a serious comeback to take this seriously

Do you guys even watch boxing?? Tyson Fury is in no shape to be fighting right now, let alone vs other champs. He needs months to get in shape, get tune-ups. This place is such a fantasy land.
Love Fury but until he's under 20 stone, he's irrelevant IMO, the guys gonna need at least 6-9 months just to lose the weight healthily, then he'll need 1 or 2 tune up fights. Fury will not be in any sort of big fight until 2019. *IF* he ever comes back.
No, it should be:
1. Wilder vs. Parker
2. AJ vs. Big Baby
3. Wilder vs. Joshua
Then the winner of #3 fights Fury. He's gonna need all that time to get in shape.
That would lead to Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder then. Fury - Anthony Joshua is THE money fight however and would need a proper promotion. It couldn't be made in a couple of months.
