Wilder had his way with a blown up carcass who stood there like a punching bag. He came for the pay day and ran. I rarely refer to any boxer as a bum, but that is Stiverne.
Meanwhile, Wilder fans are impressed with his wide, telegraphed punches that will get him countered and dropped against a legit HW. Clown is ducking Whyte and a $5 million dollar offer to fight in U.K. and we are supposed to believe he will fight AJ in the U.K.? Clown can't even sell out Barclays. Only 11K attendance.
He will either price himself out or insist on fighting in the U.S. Hope you Wilder fans enjoy watching Wilder/Breazeale in 2018.
first fight he was dehydrated. second fight too hydrated. what fans dont realize is that boxing is an exact science and if you get one thing wrong you arent ready. he should have pulled out but hes a god damn warrior and went to war with wilder twice. this is a guy who was basically undefeated when wilder first chose to fight him and wilder was a huge under dog. it was basically baldomir vs floyd but this time baldomir(wilder) came out on top. stirverne is still prob the second best heavyweight in the world with an elite level skill set. amazing mover, counter puncher, floyd like hands, and one of the biggest punchers in boxing history. wilder is just better.
Sorry, I disagree about Wilder fighting Whyte in U.K. Taking that fight would only heighten his popularity, it wouldn't be just another fight.
For all the talk of marinating fights and building a demand, many of you are using double standards now.
What Deontay earns has everything to do with how this fight is negotiated. I have said this several times--if Deontay insists on 50% or home court advantage, he is delusional. His path to greatness runs through the U.K.
Like I said before Wilder does not deserve 50-50.But I have never seen them asking for it.And they might say that in press but its just a ploy.Haymen,Dibella are not stupid they know that AJ has a whole UK behind him .Been around boxing whole life I bet is Hearn is offering 30% or so and Wilder peeps are trying to get 40% or close.
I would root for Joshua, but if Wilder wins I will give him full credit. I am just frustrated with how his fans hype him up while completely dismissing AJ. Wilder fans are quickly becoming as annoying as Floyd fans.
I think ALL fanboys are blind and not worth debating with.I have deff seen Wilder's groupies but right now it seems like AJ has more. But I like what you said in last post. Its fine to root for ANY FIGHTER as long as you are willing to give credit where its due.I alo thought there were more pac groupie's then Floyd. But all in all its just a little difference in opinion and we can agree to disagree.Have good night.
duck dylan white? you brits say literally anything
just like he ducked pedvetkin and ortiz right lol, dude its 6 am go to bed
I am from England i dont think he is ducking Whyte. Whyte is not better fighter than Bermaine who was a former world champion please let somebody tell me Whyte is better:loser:
And fighting in the USA would greatly enhance AJ’s drawing power. He’s already at a peak as to what he can earn on just UK live gate/PPV, more or less. But if he can become a PPV star in America ... you think Connor McGregor would have made as much fighting Floyd in the UK with no USA PPV?
If the fight happens in the UK, it won’t be on American PPV unless they’re fighting at 3 or 4 in the morning or whatever on English time. That doesn’t work.
AJ could maybe be the next Floyd Mayweather as in the top-earning athlete in the world (or one of them) but only if he becomes a world star. To do that, he has to leave the nest is fly. And that means fighting abroad, particularly in the USA where the real PPV money is, becoming an attraction in Vegas (his gate for 90K fans in the UK was way less than Canelo-Cotto with like 15K in Vegas ... and that doesn’t even count a huge casino fee to be the host for a major event).
Beating Wilder is the first step toward that superstardom. He doesn’t get that fighting 10 Pulevs and Parkers and Whytes.
All depends on Hearn’s faith in whether his man can beat Wilder. If he has that faith, he’ll find a way to make the fight.
Wilder and his team can talk about 50 percent and AJ supporters can say he should get 90 percent. It will probably end up with something like 50-50 on guarantee but AJ getting UK PPV and that will assure he makes more money.
But the real money is to whomever wins. And the real winner is boxing if they make a heavyweight unification.
I doubt we will see too many more PPV stars in the near future. Especially at HW, where there aren't enough quality opponents to go around. After AJ/Wilder what is there? Parker? Outside of Parker, I don't see too many fans shelling out $70+ to watch either AJ or Wilder fight the current list of HWs outside of those two.
AJ can make plenty of money fighting in the U.K. without Vegas. It is a myth that Vegas is the only place to build a super star. Vegas is shady, and I would rather see major events between the biggest stars at venues that can handle 50K+ and allows more real fans to attend rather than the celebrities, yuppies, and dope dealers who usually show up at Vegas main events.
It is clear who is the A-side, and Wilder needs AJ more than AJ needs Wilder. This is why Wilder will need to swallow his pride and accept AJs conditions. Otherwise he doesn't have a leg to stand on and he can keep fighting blown up Jelly-rolls until he is 51-0.

What excuses? What does how much Wilder make for other fights have to do with whether the two major heavyweight beltholders should unify?
Do you not WANT them to fight?
AJ makes that kind of money because he’s the big dog in the UK, where boxing is a much more major sport. Period.
If AJ was from Wichita, Kansas, and fought in the US, do you seriously think he’d be drawing 90K and making $20M?
If what you’re saying is “Joshua is making a lot of money, he shouldn’t risk a fight with Wilder because if he loses he’ll make a lot less,” that seems to be what Hearn is thinking.
Beating Dilian Whyte isn’t going to make Wilder any more of a big-money star in England than beating Breazeale will. It won’t make him a single pound/dollar more when he fights AJ, if Hearn ever allows it.
If Hearn said, “We’ll offer you 20 percent to fight AJ next, or we’ll make it 40 percent if you beat Whyte first, and we are guaranteeing you a unification vs. AJ next if you beat Whyte,” it would already be a done deal. But he isn’t willing to say “beat Whyte you get AJ,” much less that it would pay more, so there’s absolutley no point in a Wilder-Whyte fight.

Noooooooooooo its you!!I don't have a fav in fight.Just want to best fight best. You sound like Joshua's promoter. You have a CLEAR FAV and sound like all you care about is Joshua keeping his 0.I just want to see who is best. But I'm done because it seems like I have to keep sayin same thing over and over. good day

4 million dollars
and 4 million dollars
Why do you care what Wilder makes?
He wants to fight AJ and unify the titles. Since when to boxing fans opposite this and say, “No, he should have to fight some stiff who’s never beaten anyone first”???
Lets not be hypocritical about finances. When it comes time to negotiate the fight, that will be the deal-breaker right there. Wilder will insist he is worth 50% of the take, when he clearly is not.
So you think that Wilder fighting guys like Washington for $900K and Stiverne for $1.4M isn't relevant to the discussion when AJ is earning $20M per fight?
I see a lot of Wilder/Floyd fans who were perfectly fine with their boy Floyd "marinating" a fight for 5 years and making ridiculous demands along the way, but now the are suddenly in a big hurry to make excuses for Wilder.
If AJ fights Parker he'll earn another $20M in front of 90K fans. Meanwhile, Wilder will be fighting Breazeale next for another $1.4M payday and will be lucky to put another 11K asses in seats.

Wilder's jab and the one-two that dropped Stiverne the first time were anything but telegraphed. His trademark windmill attack is technically awful but his straight work is pretty nice
Yea if he gots a little respect it seems to keep him less wild. And he really only gets "windmill" once he gets them hurt but then he gets real wild.
Except Wilder has twice as many fights as Joshua. If anyone sounds like a foaming at the mouth fanboy here it is you.
who ever said Wilder has more fans?????? I will say it now for 4th time JOSHUA IS BIGGER THATS WHY HE WILL GET MORE THAN 50-50.But that don't mean he wins that's what needs to be decided. now you get it?

TBH, Stiverne never was much. His biggest wins were against fellow fat slob Arreola. He was a last minute fill-in, so expectations shouldn't have been high to begin with. Wilder did what he was supposed to do. Now it's time for the big fight, though I'm sure they'll let it "marinate". Thanks Oscar, for that wonderful term. You're the best! :fing02:
Stiverne came to win. He even had a game plan to deal with Wilders movement and boxing. Once he got hit the game plan went out the window, as did his senses.
I don't he expected Wilder to come at him and he had no plan "B".
Nice pic you sound like a fan of boxing not just a fanboy of 1-2 fighters
Except Wilder has twice as many fights as Joshua. If anyone sounds like a foaming at the mouth fanboy here it is you.

Mn you are takin to youself about Wilder being huge draw already said 3 times he is not as big as Joshua!!!!!!!!!But you are really startin to sound like fanboy!! And as far as leftovers you mean like when Joshua fought Molina??????????????Lets face it ONLY diff between records is a 40 yr old and 2 yr inactive Klich.Which is STILL BETTER then anyone Wilder fought BUT that's not his fault he signed to fight 2 top 5 guys one(Ortiz he did not HAVE to.But lets just go are own way.
Except Wilder has twice as many fights as Joshua. If anyone sounds like a foaming at the mouth fanboy here it is you.
Watch his expression as he entered the ring, he didn't want any of it. He wanted away and after that punch landed he was in a different world.
I'm glad he wasn't seriously hurt, but I'd have been gutted if I'd paid money to watch that fight. A decent couple of fights on the undercard, but Stimane was a big disappointment...
Yea he was in different world did you hear what he said to ref after 1st kn"he hit me behind head"lol that right could not have landed cleaner on button.Ref just said"no you were not".But yea he was outta shape but hade never been stopped. He CAN take a punch.
