Because Stiverne looked like a big old bowl of Jelly?
Takam is a legit name on Joshuas resume. Stiverne is a bum at this point. Maybe he always was a bum, but he definitely is one now.
Ill take a tough but comfortable win over a tough live opponent over a 1 round ko over a pudding like Stiverne
Of course Takam is the tougher fighter at this point, no one should argue that. Having said that a KO is a KO and the way Wilder KO him was more impressive. Takam is a fighter that no one looks great fighting. Same happened with Joseph Parker when he fought Takam, the only fighter to look good against Takam was a guy that was on some drugs (Pedvtkin).
Why would an early KO win not be more impressive?

I say the same. AJ had a more live opponent that moved well and Wilder did what he had to do with the type of opponent in front of him.
Now lets see how we get these two guys in the ring
Being reluctant to lie down...but also only winning 1 round on the scorecards means his performance was better than his opponents??
Having guts.. doesnt make a performance. Why dont you just say not dieing is now a factor in performance rankings?
In terms of fighters performing to their maximum potential. Yes he gave the best performance in those fights. Joshua was lackluster compared to what he could have been. Wilder was fighting a bin who by compubox numbers didn't land a single punch. So yes.. I think that Takam gave the best performance out of those fights.
Well AJ actually fought and beat a game opponent. Stiverne is literally just a lardass heavybag who was just standing for wilder to tee off on lmao.
so why did you dedicate your entire profile to hype him?
The fans? no idiot this is a forum which means the majority is usually wrong bc most don't actually know boxing ( the poll PROVES that)..some THINK they do,i KNOW i do...lol
No practical knowledgeable person can tell me that Stiverne showed wilder to be better by what i just posted which was an actual truth...These are same imbeciles who probably think Joshuas dominance over Takam gave Wilder the edge in their upcoming fight....you imbecile go collect more red K.....lolRed K comes from clowns like you who can't take the heat. I'll Red k your ass, lmao. The problem is you think that a Takam is good and he's ok. He's never won a title and he's never beaten anyone of note. Stiverne at least has a few wins and won a world title. It can't be that Wilder is good, it's Stiverne was that bad...according to you! Foh with your lunacy. There is a reason why Joshua is reluctant to fight Wilder.
"Takams performance against Joshua isnt even comparable You had to edit that **** lmao... I bet that if you had a chance to blow Joshua in full view of the public you would...no questions asked lol. The poll: the fans have spoken mother****er.
Who has Takam beaten? And your amateurish damage control outlook wont change this poll, lmao. Polls rarely ever apply-but this one applies lmao. You tell that ****en ***** that Wilder wants a fight.
Tony thompson had only lost to pulev and wlad when takam beat him...
Bumane was unranked.. fought the #9 ranked fighter and then got moved up to #3.
The fact that given the two displays weve seen.. you wont admit that takam is better than stiverne says alot
The fact that anyone feels the need to compare the two is laughable.
Just look at this way.. youre giving plaudits to the WBC world heavyweight champion for ko'ing a fighter who came in out of shape..on shorter notice..who's only activity is getting floored by a journeyman in the last two years since they fought originally.
Youre applauding this as a performance.. when its at best..a formality and foregone conclusion.
Youre also whats wrong with boxing.
The more easy to fool fan will say Stiverne but the more knowledgeable one knows better .
First off Takam had no bad showings of recent ,that should be the first clue compared to someone 2 years out of the picture .
The second one would be Derrick Rossey showed how far gone Stiverne actually was and that was proved in this fight .
Thirdly ,Joshua did not force a knock out ,he systematicically broke a more relevant fighter down and could have ignored his own corners instructions and forced one .
Measuring two fighters one obvious quit mentally and we allsee it after knock down one the other who actually was battered with 2 cuts over each eye kept trying even after a knock down losing every rnd .
Who had the better performance ?

Out of all 4 fighters I was most impressed by Takams performance. Considering the huge size advantage that Joshua had over him he was reluctant to lie down and actually put up a fight over the 10 rounds. I think most people will admit that Joshua's last performance was lackluster.
Here's how I order the fighters "performance" wise:
1. Takam
2. Wilder
3. Joshua
Stiverne needs to actually throw a punch in the ring and not come in out of shape to get on the list.

Stiverne has never been a good fighter. His best win is Arreola for crying out loud..
and this was Stiverne who was out for 2 years, looked terrible in his last outing, and came in grossly out of shape
What credit can you actually give for this win ?
