Why does this guy get a pass for going life and death with Valuev? It's sort of like his horrific performance that bout goes completely ignored, like it never happened.
In what reality can Joshua, Wilder, Fury, etc. struggle with a guy of that caliber and still be taken seriously?
His bout with Klitschko was extremely lackluster as well, Fury, Joshua, even Jennings put up a far better performances.
His resume at HW is very very very weak, Chisora, Valuev, and Ruiz? That's it? 1 of those bouts he arguably lost. Even against Bellew, he had 5 rounds to stop him, couldn't do it even with flush shots. His power is what made him special, and he couldn't even hurt a blown up cruiser? Yikes.
Great cruiser but I think Haye is another case of the rabid UK fanboys overrating a guy just because he fights out the UK.
We saw this recently with Whyte, and if Whyte can be THAT overrated by the UK fans you can sure as hell bet Haye could as well.
He threw 12 punches per round, that's going life and death. Haye was scared ****less to throw and was running for dear life, that may be the worse bicycle act in boxing's championship history.
Holyfield was 46 years old when he fought Valuev and arguably beat him lmao. Holyfield was great in the 90's, the guy made his pro debut in 1984.
46 year old Holyfield, 39 year old Ruiz, both gave Valuev he could handle. Chagaev already beat him and he had Hepatitis B, I literally can't make that shyt up.
Comedy gold, this guy knows nothing about boxing. Keep trying to convince yourself that Andy is a modern great.
Life and death Looooooooool
Lol @ going life and death, do you even know what that means? I like how you fail to mention that Valuev also beat Holyfield (a so called great).
Do you still think Andy Lee is a current great at 160? Lol at this clown.

Of course you are, the both of you brought up Valuev's size in relation to Haye's as if it was some sort of achievement when someone just as small already beat him 2 years earlier.
He didn't struggle yet he only threw 12 punches per round lmao, that's one of the lowest work rates in championship history.
You say Valuev isn't a great win, then you're saying Haye's resume is shyt lmao. You boys trapped yourselves into a corner, consider yourself embarrassed.
If Valuev isn't a great win, guys like Audley Harrison, Dereick Chisora, Ruiz sure as hell ain't.

valuev =the big preem.Val wanna worst title holders of this era. Haye could have been at very least 2nd best cruiser had he stuck around.Maybe he already was at time
We didnt say it was a great win you litterally said Haye went life and death with Valuev when anyone actually watched the fight knows youre talking complete nonsense. Keep embarrasing yourself so the rest of us can laugh

Stop embarrassing yourselves lmao, fat boy shorty Chagaev already beat Valuev 2 years earlier and barely outweighed Haye by a whopping 10lbs.

People saying this is a great win because Haye was so small lmao. Barely threw 12, not landed, threw 12 punches per round.
Sparring? Jesus you're reaching, your lack of boxing knowledge has been exposed.

No, because there was only one 'great' heavyweight in that era, which was Wladimir Klitschko. David Haye had the potential to become a 'great' heavyweight in nearly every other era, but except the era which Wladimir Klitschko resided in. That doesn't mean David Haye himself is that bad. Instead, it just means Wladimir Klitschko is that great, to the point where he didn't allow other potential 'greats' like David Haye to shine and form 'great' legacies themselves.
Having stated that, he didn't go 'life and death' against Nikolai Valuev. When one is outweighed by such a significant margin, the lighter boxer is forced to give up that much ground. You can't name me one boxer that didn't give up as much ground as David Haye did against Nikolai Valuev when they were also outweighed by the same margin. That's because it doesn't exist. Somenone like Andre Ward had done worse with a lesser weight disadvantage against Kovalev than Haye did with around a 100 pound weight disadvantage. Ward literally went life and death against Kovalev in their fist bout.
Fuk No! Good Cruiserweight Though! But not delivering on the trash talking to the Klitschko's after making T-Shirts with him holding their Severed heads and all that stuff then the toe injury excuse after he lost to Wlad
No NOT a Great Heavyweight!
Let's have a look at David Haye's complete Heavyweight resume:
Valeri Semiskur, 15-13-1 (7 KO)
Garry Delaney, 31-9-1 (17 KO)
Vincenzo Rossitto, 30-3-2 (17 KO)
Tomasz Bonin, 37-1 (20 KO)
Monte Barret, 34-6 (20 KO)
Nicolay Valuev, 50-1 (34 KO) WBA World Heavyweight title shot
John Ruiz, 40-8-1 (30 KO) WBA World Heavyweight title defence
Audley Harrison, 27-4 (20 KO) WBA World Heavyweight title defence
Wladimir Klitschko, 55-3 (48 KO) Lineal Heavyweight title shot
Dereck Chisora, 15-3 (9 KO)
Mark de Mori, 30-1-2 (26 KO)
Arnold Gjergjaj, 29-0 (21 KO)
Tony Bellew, 28-2-1 (18 KO)
In those fights David went 11-2 (10 KO) and won a WBA paper title. Beating Nicolay Valuev in Germany is his most impressive achievement. He was never Great, I wasn't aware any labeled him as such? His defences against a shot Ruiz and Audley Harrison are a disgrace.

We all understand that you are in denial, but you're starting to come off as a hater. There's no room on these boards for unnecessary gratuitous flaming of a professional Boxer who held the same exact belt that Muhammad Ali held after coming up from Cruiserweight.
He won a majority decision against the biggest heavyweight ever who had over 7st weight advantage and rocked him near the end. Educate yourself before you embarrass yourself further.
Really? Because I didn't hear anybody say that. You REALLY must be a Androlone coWard fan.
What I said was Valuev is the BIGGEST Heavyweight Champion in history and Haye isn't even a Heavyweight. This was a catch-weight fight and Haye beat him down.
Haye also humiliated Wilder in sparring and would be a 5-1 favorite against Parker. Joshua doesn't even have a real claim to the WBA since it belongs to Haye. This means a solid argument can be made that Haye has a rightful claim to every belt except the IBF, which became a paper title last year.
It's time for you to face reality and stop living in a fantasy world.

He also claimed Andy Lee was a modern great at 160.
lmao i missed that gem, i love that this place attracts so many lunatics, i legit lol nearly every time i come on here :lol1:
Pretty sure this is the same guy who said Usyk went 'life and death' with Hunter &mchunu, if you lose 1-2 rounds out of 12 you are going and 'life and death' according to this andre fraud fanboy lunatic :lol1:
He also claimed Andy Lee was a modern great at 160.
Eh? How did he go life and death exactly?

So being big means you're a good boxer? I think that's the first time I've ever heard anybody say that ever.
